This chapter was so good. Jim asking Phyllis for Pam's email, reading it over and over and then looking her profile up was so poignant. I really enjoyed seeing Pam in a different environment and having a roommate that is as cool as Natalie. And yay to the fact that Jim took the first step to email Pam. It's a bit mean of me but I like the fact that he's getting a taste of what it must have been like for Pam while he's in Stamford.

I just discovered your story today and read it all in one sitting. I'm really enjoying it! I love seeing Pam with mousse in her hair, developing some new confidence. I also like the idea of maybe she and Jim being honest with each other, even if it is by e-mail. Sometimes it's easier to be honest and open when there's some distance between you. I see this chapter as a possible turning point for Jim & Pam -- if Pam decides to write back and say something meaningful, that is!
Long story short, I think it is better than decent, and I look forward to reading the next chapter!
