This characterization of Jim kind of drives me crazy. We all remember he's going home with Karen, right? He has a girlfriend and really obviously didn't *want* to be Pam's friend. He's not the victim here. He was a jerk to Pam and she moved on. I'm a JAM junkie and I love when they end up together, but treating Jim as a victim here doesn't sit well.
It's a very entertaining story! Thank you for writing!

I can't rave enough about this story. It makes me sad that I didn't discover it until later, when neither of you wonderful authors read these reviews anymore so I can't properly thank you for writing. Thank you for putting your time and energy into this story and sharing it with the readers.

Okay...onto the review for the chapter. I love this chapter so, so much. The fact that Jim was jealous over Aidan because let's face it, he's still not over her. I love the way you wrote Jim and Pam, tiptoeing over each other and not saying what they need to say. I also like how you wove the episode Phyllis' Wedding into your storyline and made it work. The dance Jim and Pam shared was so heart-breaking, but I have faith that the other chapters will be happier.

Again, thank you!

I'm taking a brief break from reading this to tell you that I own Pam's wedding shoes! And yeah. They're pretty freaking awesome (and cute!)

Okay. I'm going to get back to reading now. And I'll leave a longer review when I finish. :D

AHHHH!!! OMG... what a freakin' AWESOME chapter.  I mean, I knew the wedding would be good, but DAMN!  You've got to update this stat!  Will there be another run-in with Aiden?

Loved the feeling involved in that Jim/Pam dance.... can't wait for an update!

I really like this fic and great chap, but OMG. Pam should have said during her confession that Aidan was NOT her bf. They would still have plenty of obstacles, but I don't like it when they lie to each other. Being deliberately false is different than just being too shy/scared to do something.

I love Aidan's description's of Jim's reaction to him - sharp instrument indeed!

Ok I don't know if I've ever review for this story before, but I just wanted to let you know that it’s one of my favorite stories on this website. The story keeps me on my toes and you write soooo well!! This was another amazing chapter. Pam's confession was subtle, but at the same time said so much. I can't wait to see where you go with this from here.

Also like in the show I feel bad from Karen, but she really can't be that dense. Jim has always loved Pam and it’s clear to see. Why would you even want to be with a guy that's in love with someone else? It's not fair to anyone. It's sad, but I hope they break up soon.

Truly I get so excited when I see that you've updated. Thanks for posting!! :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review. It means a lot to us!! The next chapter should be up soon...hopefully by tomorrow. Thank you again! Glad you like it!

You guys are trying to break my heart. It was worth it though, even if it was just one dance.
