I liked how you changed it up and had Jim tell her the truth about the stick shift on their first real date. I loved that scene in the show, but you made it work really well here. I great way for him to show her just how much he has been waiting to be with her, in anyway, even if he had to tell a white lie to get some hang out time. Great job, I really love these little snippets into my fav couple!

I was never one to imagine Roy as the abusive type. But this, this sort of hidden stuff, emotionally damaging words and actions, I could see that. And I wish Jim would have gone back in there! Great chapter.
