So Jim's clearly not at his best here. Really not a fan of him intentionally ignoring Pam like this, but it does makes sense considering how you've built this up this story. At least this Jim is aware of his self-deprecation even if he's not willing to act one anything yet.

Author's Response: Yeah, I'm not a fan of it either, but it seemed the most true to me about his current state of mind as of this episode. You mentioned in the last one that you think of Phyllis's Wedding as their low point; I think it's here, for precisely that reason.
