I enjoyed this enormously. So beautifully written (I adore Jane Austen), interesting plot, and the characters were absolutely recognizable. Regency Jam kicks butt.

I like the resolution with Jim's parents - they're not so much fully on board as they're just sort of accepting they can't help it and minimizing the damage. And the twist that their marriage ends up being what gets Michael and Holly together is clever (along with having some nice echoes in canon). I'm VERY happy you've chosen to give Ryan the worst possible comeuppance - having to rely on Kelly.
Nice work with this!

Dernhelm, this story, like all your writing, is wonderful! I felt so lucky that I got to be the first to read it.
You blended Jane Austen and The Office seamlessly throughout this story. This epilogue was also a perfect nod to Austen - I loved Jim’s parents and their response to Pam’s lack of fortune. So very typical. The line about having other more ambitious children was perfect.
It was also wonderful how Ryan’s plan backfired and Michael found happiness with Holly.
I’m so sad to have this story end, but you wrapped it up so well!
Thank you for writing this! I wish I still had jellybeans to give!

Well that was lovely as ever. I'm glad you made this, and that you saw it through. How delightful (and 300 pounds; how rich the Beeslys truly are). A catch indeed, and a great story.

A sweet ending for a sweet story--I'm late to the party, but I had such a blast reading this perfect merging of Regency and Jam. Thanks for an amazing story!

I've somehow missed all of your updates on this wonderful story, but finished reading it today a
You did such a great job wrapping up each conflict and incorporating the words and attitudes of the characters.
I have to say that the letter scene and Mr. Halpert riding back to meet with Pamela was my favorite part of all.
You had a lot going on in this story (The Office, Persuasion, P&P and your own original content) and it was wonderful!
Thanks for writing!

Interesting take on Jim's parents. Usually they're seen as very pro-Pam. Granted it's a different time and place here but it's a unique kind of change. Love that Jim and Pam just don't care about anything and go ahead with a short engagement and wedding After all the time apart it's a great contrast that's a joy to envision.
Nice to get wrap-ups on all the other characters as well. Lots of tied off ends and all that.
Lovely writing throughout this story It's been a lot of fun to picture the familiar characters in this time and place. Well done.

Well done, that was a nice ending. And done worry about your writing, it's great. We all suffer from the imposter syndrome sometimes, it's hard to shake.
