Well, the feeling of the dullness and grey that can overtake you when unemployed felt all too real, and I'm glad Pam was able to break out of it and feel like she can start creating again. Feels like she might be through to the other side and starting to move her life forward the way she always wanted it now - can't wait to see it!

First off, loved the Family Fued reference. Nice little detail to throw in there.

I'll admit I was kind of concerned for Pam at the start of this chapter. Sitting in her sweatpants binging TV all day long. The couch has a tendancy to suck one in and not let go.

But then, she breaks free and in one of the best ways possible. It's not Jim to call and say get off the couch. It's her returning to what she loves. Even though she's with Jim, she has her own strength and that showed that wonderfully. So the previous sitting around moping becomes the grief period for the end of one chapter, but now she's activly seeking out how to write the rest of her story.

Everything that follows just builds on that. Meeting Jim in the park, getting her place cleaned up, the dinner and dress for Jim. Just great ways to show she's ready to embrace whatever it is life will throw at her.

Loved it, loved it, loved it.

I'm glad you caught the FF reference! I had hoped it was pretty obvious while writing it in there! I'm glad you're enjoying the updates! I really want to write Pam the way they should have written her in the show much sooner.
