Yep, this imagery describes Roy well.
Inviting at first, but still the threat of danger without her seeing.
This one is beautiful, I love it!

Ooooof. Roy as a swamp sucking her in to an environment not conducive for growth or laying a solid foundation is a pointedly good metaphor.
