I loved this look into a newly independent Pam - you capture her fear really well, and the small win at the end is a really nice moment.

Author's Response: Thank you! Independence has its price, but of course, it's worth it :)

I think this head-canon makes a lot of sense, and while I don't love Pam being scared like this, it feels realistic to her situation at this time in her life.

Author's Response: Thank you! I don't like to see Pam in distress either, but as you said, it was realistic for her to feel that way back then...

This is one of my favorite one in the series. How you captured the initial fear and anxieties of someone living by themselves who almost all their lives were under a safety blanket. It’s a new adventure that comes with its own share of risks.
Well done :)

Author's Response: Thank you! I should confess, though... I left my home city at 17 and went to the much bigger city (there I had just a few acquaintances), so here I just wrote a little about my own daily share of fears :)

This fits. She's just gone through the wringer. Jim's confession, her rejecting him, Jim leaving, her breaking up with Roy, and now moving out on her own. Probbaly the first time she's lived on her own in years. After everything she's gone through I think it makes total sense her nerves would be a bit fried. She's still working on building her courage and this is a great look into that.

Author's Response: Thank you, it's important to me to keep things as realistic as possible. Besides, I think that in that her state, she needed some victories in her life (like art school), so even fighting daily fears might have been considered one.
