I realised I never left a review for this chapter even though I read it several times. I think this was my favourite, especially the last part.

HAPPY ARCHIVERSARY! (And I think we can all agree that when you do finish the story, we can fudge the date in honor of its time travel content.)

"And once there, who was to know if she would ever leave." Much as I disagree with you about them sleeping together almost immediately, I really like this line - feels very true to Pam's mindset post-breakup. And Jim being supportive of it is delightful.... and him immediately wanting her to sign the lease near him, in such sharp contrast with his attitude towards Karen! Fun.

"After the magical night it happened, a mere three days after her time travel ended, she became a frequent guest at her new boyfriend's house." Get it girl.

The documentary crew suspension probably should've happened at some point in canon... and maybe explains the strike-produced gap in Season 4, somehow?

OH NO. GABBY disappearing is a twist I did NOT see coming. I mean, it couldn't be Pam's fault, she couldn't have retroactively changed the past farther than she went back, but ooooof. That's a body blow. And like Pam my curiosity as to how the mechanics of this all worked are renewed.

Oh, this all worked out so well for everyone EXCEPT Randall, poor guy. And I'm glad to see Gil isn't a complete douche here and does appreciate her art when she takes some risks. (Also, write the "Gil sees Pam's post-Jim art and likes it" fic.)

"She came back to a future where she could be her truest self and also be in love with Jim. And that made all the difference." And THAT is a good wrap-up on a Pam journey if there ever was one.

THE WARRIOR REFERENCE. Amazing. And I love the image of them joyfully sharing all these stories they've been waiting to share.

WHAT.

Okay, gonna be thinking about this one for while. Time travel logic makes my head spin.

*It was on the way back to his place after work one night, when they saw the for-rent sign. Two blocks from his place, she was somewhat apprehensive to suggest checking it, it being so close to him and their relationship so new, but before she even had time to debate it internally, he was pulling out his phone to call for an appointment when they could see it.*

Love the not-so-subtle shade at Jim's nonexistent future relationship with Karen ha!

*She had found herself upon arrival, and discovered that she could still hold on to who she was and also be in love because with Jim, the two weren't mutually exclusive. He loved her for all that she was and all he wanted her to be, but more importantly what she wanted to be.*

There it is. That's it.

What a journey, friend! Satisfying ending and I'm hoping the last chapter will have some Michael (please?)

Quick thing to start out with. The paramedic saying she needs to take out her contacts. Gotcha. Thank you.

So, more changes than appears now that we're well and truly on the other side of this whole adventure. Not only the physical things like her hair and eyesight, but the more important things about herself. I love the new confidence that Pam has. That even though she wants and does spend as much as her time with Jim as she can, she also wants to stand on her own two feet. Beautiful. Even more so that Jim is right there with her, not saying anything like "just move in with me, you'll save money for all these things you want to do." I get the feeling she's heard that line before and yeah, pass. Not that Jim would use that line on her because clearly, he gets why she wants to be her own person while also being with him. Very mature on both their parts.

So somehow in all this shuffle, Gabby and Randall aren't together. It does kind of make me sad to hear that. Randall and Gabby seemed to have such a great relationship it stings a little to see that it's not there anymore. Though Randall's reaction there at the end gives maybe a little sliver of hope.

Loved the fact idea that Pam can share everything with Jim. Even the stuff she had buried away for years. The shoe has a set of silver wings!! Aww, thank you. I'm so glad and thankful a conversation you and I had once proved the inspiration for this wonderful piece. Gorgeous little line there and I'm very grateful for it.

One more chapter to go and we'll finally be done with this masterpiece. Looking forward to it for sure.

OH MY GOD! When Randall said he doesn't have a wife, I literally sat forward and went WHAT?
For about 15 chapters (maybe more?) I've been fixating on a line where Gabby says 'Not yet Gabrielle' and I've been waiting for something to happen and now KABOOM!
Really enjoyed seeing time move forward quite a bit here and all the ways that Jim is supporting Pam in her new life.
Such a great chapter and I can't wait to read the final one!!
I'm out of jellybeans, but have one of Pam's granola bars on me

Author's Response:

Sorry I've been so bad about responding to my reviews. So busy trying to bring this bird in for a landing but now that I have I want to say thanks for all the great reviews and excitement and the granola bar!

I'm so pleased you enjoyed the twist...I know it's a bit confusing and ambiguous but I left a little for the imaginative set to interpret their own way. Always leave them thinking, right?

Thank you again for enjoying my labor of love.
