Yup that's about how I figured Michael would act. A little less on the child-ish side of things and a little more on the good-natured golden Michael. Nice job balancing that out. It'll be an adventure for both of them having him as their doctor but of the three there's really no contest.
A couple more issues starting to come up now that the reality of it all is starting to hit home. What do they do about their careers, how do they tell their families, all big questions that will need to be answered for sure.
Ha! Cathy is now basically ignoring them. Serves her right.
Getting a little better there in the bedroom Jim. She's not made of glass you know. Sounds like he's on his way to figuring that out and then fun times to be had by all.

I think the best side of Michael is when we see why he really is a great salesman and a good manager, so hopefully that will translate into a somewhat competent doctor, albeit a strange one.

Always worth the wait! I’m not convinced about Michael Scott ob gyn, especially with so much that’s what she said, but he seemed reasonable and sweet and dedicated, so I will go with that! I was scared when he said that he graduated top of his class— not really, he graduated— OMG— but I loved his dialogue! Even though I couldn’t place every line, I knew it was canon and loved the mentions— Jimothy, little kid lover, mopey place, and more. I loved the Jim “inconclusive” line because that’s one of my favorite exchanges in Gossip!
I still think Jam needs to visit a bookstore for a stack of pregnancy books— especially Jimbo! He’s this confident, assertive guy so far in the story and to see him so unsure and nervous and unaware is so different and yet so sweet.
Bringing in the parents makes me realize that while Jam has an instant connection in the past month, they still have so much to share with each other— including their own parent issues. I feel like both will be able to help the other see shed some light on those insecurities.
So excited for the next chapter— hopefully a great visit with an ultrasound? Jim doting on Pam is so sweet, in character, and lovely to read. Excellent work as always!!

Ah have a little faith in Michael as the doctor, he is a good salesman and manager after all! I'm sure he'll do right by these kids. loved that you got all the canon lines, it was a lot of fun getting those in there! Especially the mopey one, I almost wrote moppy haha!

How Michael ended up being one of the top doctors in one of the best hospitals in New York is beyond me. But maybe he'll surprise us in more ways than one. Him being an OB-GYN in an alternate universe is so, so funny given how much he wants to have kids. I mean if he can't have one on his own, he can probably just worm his way into Jim and Pam's relationship. Although, something tells me he's not getting invites to any of their parties anytime soon. Imagine him giving people details on Pam's changing body.
Oof, Jim and his daddy issues are making another appearance. I mean, they're basically living in a rom-com so this is probably the dramatic part where his dad is disappointed and will only come around when the baby is born. Or maybe you're planning to turn this into a horror show and the baby will be born in a bathtub in an abandoned home as Pam tries to be as quiet as possible. Lol.
Anyway, I really like the fact that despite him being successful and loaded, he still feels like an insecure kid around his dad. The fear is real in this one.
Yeah, Jim suddenly being nervous to perform in bed is funny. I bet he wishes they could just go to third base every time but even then, I'm sure he'll still have random insane thoughts like "Is it safe for her to swallow?" or something.
Them making a list of sex questions and asking Michael of all people? Sure, that would be fun. I'm sure that will go really well for them.

Loved the eyebrow smirk Pam gave to Kelly about Kelly being able to keep secrets. Though eventually the secret will get out and I'm sure there will be the squeals from Kelly and judgement from Angela. Kinda looking forward to seeing how/if Pam puts Angela in her place about this latest pregnancy. Angela has been rather cutting in this fic and I'm very interested to see how Pam handles that when it's directed at her. Especially since Pam is after all the boss and Angela does respect a chain of command. Could be a fun dynamic to explore.
Good voices for Robert and Jolene. The first overly cringey and the second overly presumptive of well everything. I'm with Pam, they're the best? Wow. Though seeing Dunder-Mifflin Hospital was a fun treat. And thus enters Michael. Michael. Michael Gary Scott. As an OBG-YN. I mean, what else does one say about that? I think there's only one thing for it really, forward into the breach and let the chips fall where they may. Though I can also see the best version of Michael being really good here too. Nice work as always.

These last two chapters were really great, and funny.
It’s nice to see Jim so excited about being a dad so early into their relationship. Most men would be
freaking out like Ryan is. Then again unlike Kelly,
Pam didn’t get pregnant to trap Jim.
However, it would not surprise if some people
accuse Pam of doing that very thing, like Jim’s dad.
I like how Jim and Pam tried to work things out about Jim being gone for those months.
Kelly is driving me crazy. I don’t know how Pam puts up with her. Just getting a break from Kelly would be enough for me to what to leave with Jim for months, if I were Pam. Pam teasing Jim about being called daddy reminds me of Ross and Phoebe on Friends.
I admit that I am curious about what’s coming up with Cathy and Karen because they’ve been pretty quiet lately.

And then the confirmation that she’s actually pregnant. I love that even Jim is crying. He wants this badly with Pam. Suck it, Karen.
Nice Alfredo’s reference there. Kelly is so annoyingly amazing, I love it.

I absolutely adored Jim and his pros and cons list. I adore that scene with him and Michael in the conference room season 6 when Jim tries to make a list and it was great placement for it in this chapter!
Pam’s Pjs are super cute… a little worried about what the doc will say given her history, but I trust in you and your AU! I love protective Jim… but Pam cracked me up when she took off! And Pam… don’t ruin daddy for Jim!

Final definitive confirmation at long last. I mean we all knew it was coming (twss) but nice to have 100% from a doctor. You could feel the tension between them while they were waiting for the blood work to come back. Then when they got the news it was all very sweet. Some normal thoughts going through their heads now of course. Where to live, how is it all going to work, all that sort of thing.
Oh boy, Kelly knows. Everyone's going to know. I can see the glares from Angela now. Hopefully the new and improved CEO Pam can put her in her place about appropriate workplace comments. Especially to her boss. Should I be as looking forward to seeing Cathy's reaction as I am? The fact that Jim and Pam are now so linked? But then again in canon Jim and Pam had two kids by the time Cathy tried to put the moves on Jim so that point may be moot.
Oh Jim. You're being such a guy there at the end. You're not going to break her. The heck with looking up hospitals right now me bucko. There are other more pressing things for you to research.
