Dude, this was great! I love me some season 2 Au/fixits and you didn't fail to deliver!

Michael reenacting the film is so on brand for him & having Pam and Jim follow him to witness from a distance is so funny. Why the heck would he want to be stuck in the time loop!

I'm glad it didn't take long for Pam to come round she was clearly not satisfied with how things were going with Roy, he is such a grump!

The end was just adorable, her coming Knocking after they said night d84;a039;

Author's Response: Oh thank you so much!! Glad you liked it!

Ugh, just so cute. The way she reappeared at his door after they had said goodnight? Like gum, it is perfection. And the little bit the morning after with them cuddled up with a t-shirtless Jim. Great stuff my boy, enjoy your jellybeans. Ta for inspiring me to watch the film tonight. Toodle pip!

Author's Response:

Well thank you kind sir. I will take your gum and your jellybean

Thank you for all the reviews and all the help!

Ok LOVE the towel moment. You get them visuals Pamela. I love the little trading off who is listening out for Michael. Ugh his revelation and her running off was so heartbreaking but also so perfect. Love her coming back without her wig and them catching up so naturally and her being honest with Jim in the light snow. So romantic and jammy, and how they are now focused on this rather than following Michael and his antics around. Stellar stuff chap.

Author's Response:

You know me, I need a wet Jim in my life.

Am so relieved you liked it, you know how worried I was!

Firstly, absolute classic Michael expecting that party to be today just because he won't be there for when the party is actually planned for. I loved that little detail, you know them too well. (Also blue Honda Civic? good choice) Good work Jim on getting himself out of the office with his vomming, knowing Angela will pick up on things as safety officer! Pam's little revelation with the French food situation was super cute and came so naturally, when something reminds you of a feeling and you go with it, and the way Jim just didn't really know how to respond so would try to put a little comment to move the subject on. Excellent stuff, pip pip for now.

Author's Response: I do love writing Michael, he's just so much fun! Thank you fo your kind words sir

I just love how Jim comes up with this idea after Michael's little comment and that they end up with a fully fledged plan to follow him. Absolute classic early Jim and Pam! That sneaky pair... good stuff old boy.

Author's Response: Yay glad it worked and you liked it!

Awww, that's a delightful way to wrap this up. Jim still being the gentleman and walking her to her door. But the courage from earlier is still in full effect and so Pam shows up. Feels like they had a very nice evening together. To think it all happened because they wanted to see the crazy antics of Michael. They clearly got a lot more than they bargained for in all the right ways.

Outstanding job and also thank you for posting it all at once. Those would have been some mean cliffhangers if you had spread the chapters out posting them one by one.

Fortes Fortuna Adiuvat and Happy Groundhog's Day!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! So happy you enjoyed this! And Happy Groundhog Day to you too!

Well, that's one heck of a way to start things off! Then of course hilarity ensues with following Michael around everywhere. The idea that he'd recreating the entire movie 100% tracks with him. Lots of fun to see it from Jim and Pam's point of view.

Ooh more revelations from the two of them. That they'd each want to be in each others time loop. Especially from Pam who makes no mention of Roy. That's huge!

Now the bar and an interesting drink order. And now we come to the 'oh holy crap!' moment. Wow, Jim being bold there. Forget everything I said in my last review about the timeline of this fic. Big shock to Pam there of course. To just hear it said loud and clear like that would of course be a lot. I don't blame her for wanting to get some space. Makes Jim a little despondent though.

However, we get to the park. Looks like Pam did a lot of soul searching in a very little bit of time. Though, maybe with reflection it wasn't as hard for her as she might have thought. Loved all the references to things like the teapot and when she first realized she liked him. Great use of all that backstory material. Then she goes ahead and has her own surprise for Jim. It really is amazing what something like 10 seconds of insane courage can do. Jim had his own moment in the bar. It then strengthens Pam to realize and also go for what she really wants. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Author's Response:

Haha last review forgotten. Poof!

Glad you like this all - the comedy and the revelations!

Thanks so much for the review!

Michael re-enacting the movie fits him so well. My guess is that he's seen that film so many times he's got it memorized. I mean, why wouldn't he if he's also coming all the way to Punxsutawney. Also loved the back and forth between Michael and Dwight in his office there. You can see how much Dwight wants to please Michael and how annoyed but also flattered Michael is at all of Dwight's attention.

Lots of fun JAM banter too. Look at Jim being the gentleman and making sure to book two rooms. I get the feeling that anything else would have strayed into territory rife with landmines at this point. So good on him.

However we're getting some really interesting revelations from Pam. She's admitting that her life with Roy is just the same old same old. I really find that interesting considering the timing of this story. I don't know if this was intentional or not, but we're past the Booze Cruise so the date of the wedding has been set. Pam seemed really excited and at least had a bit of a flare up of her affection for Roy right around that time. Yet here we are not a few weeks later, and she's back to talking about what she's annoyed with concerning Roy. This is also, in the canon timeline at least, after her and Roy's trip to the Poconos and would also be when everything with the internship went down. I just mention this all because in the show it seems like a fairly critical time for the JAM relationship. The start of the fracture that we saw through S3. However, here, there's a different take. Jim is still being as supportive as he can and Pam seems to have forgotten all her previous zeal for her upcoming wedding. Really looking to see what happens in future chapters.

Author's Response:

That's what I like to think about Michael too! He's seen it and then is convinced he can get stuck too

I was going to go with the one room (oh no it's fanfic there's only 1 room left!) but thought it best for them to have one each!

I do think Pam was initially excited about the wedding, but we know there's always more excitement around the corner with Jim!

Ok so this is fun. Of course there's still a little tension considering it's S2 and everything that entails. But regardless, I love that Jim is using his pranking prowess for good here. Or at least nothing disruptive or destructive. Pam initially hesitant but then jumping on board fits her so well right now too. Great JAM banter throughout as well. Onwards to more!

Author's Response: Glad you liked the Jam banter! Love keeping these two playful, if yet a little cautious at this point still!

Michael wanting to celebrate Kelly’s birthday because he’ll miss it is genius.

"I know, but it's Michael," —-> Man’s got a point.

French isn’t my first language so I’m just gonna assume all the food’s amazing.

"Just, Roy won't share any food. He always says if I want to try what he's eating so badly, I should have ordered it myself." — that only works when your last name’s Tribbiani.

Author's Response:

Just watch the movie already.

But also thank you

I should probs watch Groundhog Day now. I probably wouldn’t. But I should.

Maybe if the characters were named Jim and Pam.

Author's Response: You really reallllllly should
