ACK!!!!  OMG.  If we ever get to see something remotely like this I'll die.  Seriously.  I won't be able to take it.

And Michael, Michael, Michael.  He just can't help himself.

Hurry up.  I want to see what happens when Roy runs after Jim.  Please don't make him mess up his pretty face.  :(

I like the way you've been hopping between people's minds, and the subtle yet important decisions/thoughts some of them have been having.  Can't wait for the payoff!!

I can't wait to read how you're going to make these four react to the news...particularly Karen.

transfixed by her every move, hanging on whatever crumbs she offered him, praying desperately that she'd change her mind I'm intrigued by the idea that Pam is experiencing Jim's past emotions at the same time that Roy is. Interesting insight. More, please.

she so obviously felt more than that, too; the feeling of her in his arms - slightly stiff and unyielding at first, then without warning limp and totally acquiescent, her lips and hands telling him the whole story, no denial, no flight instinct. Oh, yum.

only to find her filling the teapot he'd given her with water, all he could do was stand stock still, frozen, their eyes meeting, a multitude of things left unsaid passing between them before he deliberately turned and walked away. Oh, Jim. Don't be scared. Teapot=Love.

Yay! More! I'm supposed to be writing, but instead I'm reading this!

Oh, this makes me so happy.  I'm glad I helped light the fire that spurred you on to write this!  (Yeah, I'm codename at twop, which I think you already know, but I always feel the need to say that - I wasn't thinking when I made my profile here.)

Just everything so far is so...good.  I mean, hee, Styx, and the most underused character on the show, Darryl.  I would go back through all the chapters and pull quotes that I loved, but that would pretty much be everything.:)

*Sigh* I wish I could write so well.  I hope you post more soon!  (Oh, and sorry, I would review each chapter, but my typing is somewhat compromised right now.)

Omigod, Styx. Hee heee.

Distant younger cousin. Only Michael could say that and mean it.

Another great set of perspectives. Lovin it!

Wow that was a great Roy chapter.  I'm surprised that Michael went to Pam for him but then he was probably drunk.

Ok, I like NEED the next chapter now! I love that we're getting everyone's POV here. Can't wait for Michael to spill the beans.

You had me at: It's over; you won. I'm yours - do whatever you want. Exactly! As always, v. impressed by your ability to produce entire sagas...and always make it so absorbing. Wanted to write something re: 'rebound speech' myself, but am getting nowhere fast. And you just make it happen. Amazing. (But, one thing...don't Jim's lips seem a little chapped? Perhaps Pam could help him with some lip balm.)

Author's Response:

Seeing reviews from you always makes me ridiculously happy - though reading your fic makes me much happier.  (I suspect the stuff you say is getting nowhere is actually going somewhere in a hurry - I mean, hello, have you ever written a piece that didn't get a blue ribbon?? Shut out the voices, as Virginia Woolf says, and let it flow!)

Ahh, the lip balm...yes, I think you're probably right.  Maybe I should've had someone trip over a tube of lip balm as a kind of foreshadowing, since that will be a part of this work - I just don't know how yet....

Thank you, as always, for reviewing!  ....Now post your next fic, please!

I can't wait for more - this is going to be one heck of a roller coaster ride! :)

Author's Response:

I'm glad you like it so far - and yes, when Michael Scott is the one attempting to step through the awkwardness, it's bound to be bad.  :o)

Thanks!

YAY to YOU!!!  I'm already nervous as to how this is all going to go down (TWSS). I'll secretly be hoping for some awkwardness, angst, and possibly some harsh words (and fists?...hmmm) before our Jam can't get on to the Jamming!!!

Author's Response:

No, yay to YOU for the awesome spoilers - just enough info not to ruin the surprise, but never so much that it's misleading.  (Hello, Aussiello's intern?  The last two minutes? I think not - try the conversation on the couch!)

I promise you that in my version at least, there will be plenty of awkwardness and angst.  And because you're so great with the spoilers, I will tell you this: In lieu of a comraderie event, Michael will be hosting a mediation seminar.  All parties (read: warehouse guys) will be present.

;o)

Thanks for the review!

Yes!!  I can't wait to see what you do with this.  More soon - please????

Author's Response: I'm so glad you like it - working on the next chapter now, so it'll be up sometime tomorrow.  (And BTW, I'm chomping at the bit to get back to your holiday fic - it's been a crazy week, but I've got a day set aside, and I'm holding on to it....)  Thanks for reviewing!

Great POV from Pam - I can imagine her struggling with what to do, and probably deciding to step aside and let Jim and Karen move forward.  (But I hope not!)

Author's Response: Ah, my faithful reviewer - you are awesome, you know.  Yeah, I'm wondering if they're setting us up for Pam to feel hesitant, given her new friendship with Karen.  Of course, what does it matter?  She and Jim will end up together anyway!  :o)

you have to continue. I need to perspective after the last episode;)

Author's Response: I'm working on it as we speak, shaebay. (Though I'm convinced it's all good - poor Jim seems to have realized he's rebounding and nothing more....)  Thanks for reviewing!

"About the realization that had struck him as he'd sat there on the couch next to Michael, intending to console him but hearing himself speak a truth he hadn't even dared to admit to himself before that moment."  - in Booze Cruise, Michael gives Jim advice.  I like that this time around, the tables are turned and in giving Michael advice, Jim learns something about himself, too.

Author's Response: Great insight, kaystar - I actually hadn't even considered that, beyond just loving the Michael-Jim interaction.  Let's just hope they have many more serious moments ahead....

Wow.  I feel bad for Karen here, because she's in such a tough situation.  I think this type of thing is happening now, and it's inevitably going to become more apparent to her on the show.  You've done a good job of writing Karen's confusion and frustration.

Author's Response:

I feel badly for Karen, too, but I'm glad the writers made her likeable.  That said, I suspect the end of that relationship won't be easy for poor Jim, who'll no doubt feel guilty, thus keeping him away from Pam for a while.... Damn you, Greg Daniels, and your endless angst!

Thanks for reviewing!

a sparsely worded email from Pam: Don't ever - ever - confide in Michael. Seriously.

Oh, dear. I can imagine the look on Pam's face. Nicely done, girl7!

Author's Response: Hee - I could, too.  The comments Michael made in "The Convention" made me wonder if Roy had ever actually confided in him....

No!  Don't let Karen have the chance!  I like Pam's comparison of Karen to Katy.  Because there was nothing vapid about Karen, no glaring character flaw to indicate that she and Jim would never last. So sadly true.

Author's Response:

Yeah, I think the writers have done a wise thing in making Karen likeable and believable as a quasi-love interest for Jim.  She's no Katy; that's for sure (no disrespect to Amy Adams, who did a fantastic job in that role).

Thanks for the review!

He wasn't as light-hearted here; they didn't bicker playfully over squeaky chairs or go on record scavenger hunts for her favorite brand of potato chips.

This makes me feel very sad for Karen because it's not what she signed up for. It makes me wonder about the possibility that if Jim carries on like he has been, she'll call the whole thing off on her own. I like the way you've written her.

Author's Response:

I completely agree with you - I feel sorry for her, too, because i get the sense that she has no idea about his history with Pam.  While I don't subscribe to the whole "Jim is a jerk" school of thought, I do think that he's inadvertently playing a bit fast and loose with Karen's affections. I just hope she's as strong and savvy as she seems to be, and will classily step back as soon as she realizes what's what.
