A ray of light come in through the window.

It was a sunny day.

He looked around and saw all those memories stuck in his bedroom.

Their bedroom. Or it used to be.

The night table was full of her stuff.

Her mirror.

Her make-up bag.

Her favorite earings. The ones she loved.

He stood up and walked to the open window. A car was parked in front of his house.

A man waited for him inside. The only one he never thought could be a friend for him. But that was part of his charm.

Michael, the magician.

He heard her laugh and he smiled.

She was gone now.

He was still here.

James Halpert took his coat and walked out of his home for the first time in six months.

Michael didn't say a word. He just drove.
