10 Just got back from a vacation, no internet time, and one of the first things I did was check for an update her. This was an especially moving chapter, I think you nailed Jim's reaction. It was painful, but most importantly real. I don't usually get teary reading fanfic, but you got me here. I hope you update again soon. And thank you for sharing this with us.

The writing is so wonderfully good, your descriptions of Jim's face and eyes while talking to Pam was so good. Oh, thank you so much. I really am working hard on my next chapter. I've just been really busy. I'm doing a summer quarter at my college, and everything is shortened, so I have lots to do. I promise, I'll have some time to write this week!
10 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR UPDATING! I seriously had been checking everyday just for this story. This update wasn't quite what I was hoping for (more Jim/Pam interaction), but it was still so good. I don't know how you do it, but I'm on the verge of tears with every chapter and I am not a person who cries easily. Jim's interaction with Pam's mom was so good, meaninful on multiple levels. I can't wait to read the next chapter and I really hope we don't have to wait as long. Keep up the amazing work!
In the late summer of 2006 Pam makes the three hour drive up to Stamford.

Author's Response: Thanks! The writers really did a good job with Pam this season, and my family thanks them, otherwise I really would have thrown the remote at the tv. I'd love to write more just as much as I loved finally getting this out there.
