Ouch! Boy this chapter was a tough one to read. It hurts my heart (and my grief bone) to see Jim be so overtly cold to Pam. But, as ever, your writing of this story rocks. Good job.
10 Aaahhh!!! I can't believe I'm at the end of Ch. 20 already! Thank you for doing such an artfull, thoughtful job with this story. You've done a fantastic job of integrating real events and dialogue with the AU storyline (Pam's speech, in particular). Most impressive. Oh, and in case we don't see him or hear from him again, Brian was a great character. He was just what Pam needed; a much better choice than Roy. :) Thanks again--can't wait to see what comes next!
