No need to be nervous. This was very cute.

Author's Response: Thank you!  I've never written anything this, uh...steamy before so, yeah...my nerves almost got the better of me.  Thanks for assuring me, though.  Glad you enjoyed it, Cheeb! -K

OMG, I can't tell you how happy this chapter made me. Read the whole chapter with a big grin on my face and laughed out loud too. (Not cool because it's after midnight and I have a sleeping child and husband in the house.) Speaking of husbands, mine talks in bed too, and I nod and say uh huh while he speaks when all I want to do is sleep. :) I so love how protective Jim is when it comes to Franny, what with not wanting Kelly anywhere near her! So funny how Jim is behaving himself and Pam just wants to have at him now. I just have to say again how much I love the way these two are written by you, in all of your stories. Am so looking forward to more of this one.

Awww, what a perfect ending. Thanks italianfood for such a wonderful story.

I'm with you iwantphillyjim! Definitely worth re-reading (and printing). :)

Author's Response: Aw, Cheeb, you have been a great reviewer throughout, and it\'s reviews like yours that make me more excited about posting.

Another perfect chapter title: Pam thanking Franny; Jim thanking Megan. Franny is such an important part of this story. I really love her character. Her jealousy of the new baby is perfectly in character given how much she loves Jim. I only have one child myself, but my next door neighbors have two boys, three years apart and this is exactly how the older boy behaved when his mom was pregnant and when his little brother came into the world. Great job conveying Franny’s jealousy. Nice that you brought Pam’s sister back into the story. I don’t want to smack her anymore. :) I’m also glad that you mentioned Jon’s child being a girl. I’ve been wondering if you would bring these characters back into the story. Duh, should have realized you would with the wedding.

The wedding paragraphs were perfect. Funny and sweet. I don’t need to read about them reciting their vows. You’ve shown with all these chapters how much they love each other and what they would do to make each other happy. You’ve also made me weepy again: what with Jim’s visit to Megan’s grave site and Pam’s conversation with her dad about Jim.

I too am sorry to see this one end, but just like you’ve been amazed by writing this, your loyal readers have been amazed with this story. Thank you. I look forward to the epilogue.

I’m so glad you like to write multi-chapter stories. I can really see how both Jim and Pam have grown emotionally since the first chapter. Someone on the MTT boards once compared John Krasinski to a big, overgrown puppy at the way that he gets excited. I thought this exact same thing as I read how excited Jim is at the idea of Pam’s possibly being pregnant. You’ve once again brought me to tears, but happy ones this time: Jim’s reaction to their being pregnant. Franny keeps her valuables in her backpack: A daddy shirt and a corn husk doll from Dwight. Love it! Sweet image to have at the end of this chapter: Jim and Franny eating cereal together while watching a movie. So cute. Have I said how much I like the way you write? You are so funny. The teasing, the sarcasm, hilarious. And the fact that you’ve brought me to tears more than once while reading this story. Excellent job, yet again italianfood.

Author's Response: Thanks Cheeb! Now I have an ego the size of Texas! Seriously though, thank you for reading and reviewing all the time. I live to make you cry!

I do love me some good fluff. Okay, I'm not upset with you anymore about the wait for this chapter. You're not the only one that does not want this story to end. So just keep going until Franny goes off to her own Dunder Hall, where she meets a Dwight type. :) This chapter made me all kinds of happy. I love the way you write Dwight. Glad your writer's block is gone. I was stumped as to why Pam was upset when Franny used the word Daddy. Glad you explained why. Can't wait to read Pam's reaction to her "Moon Rock."

Author's Response: Could you imagine what Jim would really do if Franny brought home a Dwight?

I'm so glad I stayed up to watch Steve Carell on Letterman and decided to check this site before going to sleep! This chapter was great. Your Jim and Franny scenes are just wonderful. He's definitely her dad in all the ways that count. And Jim's right, Franny shouldn't have to be so afraid about calling him Daddy while around Pam, or anyone else. They need to get married already. I hope Pam's really pregnant. That would be a great way to end this story. Oh, and a wedding too! I'm getting sad that this story is coming to an end, but I've enjoyed each and every chapter!

Author's Response: I cannot confirm or deny if there will be a wedding or a baby. ;)

First of all, shower sex? MAKE it work, Pam! Good stuff, the Roy wrap up. I can see where he would feel inadequate with the way he's making a living, compared to Pam's going to college and her family giving him a hard time about giving her the life they feel she deserves. A lot of pressure on him. (But still not right what he did.) Loved how Jim behaved with him in the bar. Poor Pam, realizing Roy was planning to leave her way before he actually did. Yes Mr. Beesley, Jim is a keeper. And Jim and Megan's mother, just brought tears to my eyes. Closure, that's what Jim needed and now that he has it and has opened up to Pam about his life with Megan, I'm happy. :) Bring on the anti-angst! Love, love, love this story italianfood.

Author's Response: Thanks Cheeb. Love, love, love long reviews! And you\'re right about the shower sex! The Jim and Megan\'s mom part was my favorite part to write, but emotionally it was really hard to get through.

Jim, Jim, Jim. Listen to your brother. Although, I do have to agree with Jim: Who wouldn't want to wake up to him every morning? :) Just love that Jim got offended when Jon admitted he wanted his baby to be a boy. Great decision to go back in the office. Love Angela, Kelly and Creed. I can just see all of them saying and doing what they did. So many great lines: optimest/pessimest; the christening gown; the odds on who Michael would kill; Dwight's interrogation, and poor Franny's reaction; how Kelly thinks Pam could use a new purse. (Can you tell I really liked their being in the office?) I would have liked to learn more about Roy's decision to leave. I know he could see there was no room for him in Pam's life now, but would have liked to have read his thoughts, and maybe an apology to her. Am glad he's gone though. Can't wait to hear how things work out with them all living in MEGAN's HOUSE. I feel some angst coming.

Great chapter. Apt title too. Glad you were in the mood you were in. They sure are making up for lost time aren't they? :) Good to hear that Roy is a FORMER Dunder Mifflin employee. I was going to scream if I read that Roy found a new job there. Pam's not the only one who doesn't want Franny calling Roy Daddy. I can't wait to hear Franny call Jim Daddy. I love Jim's stance with regard to this Roy business. Stand your ground Jim! Finally, Jim's told Pam those three important words. I'm almost as happy to hear it as she is! Excellent job italianfood. No worries about future chapters being an interesting trip. I'm completely confident you're up to the challenge.

Author's Response: Thanks for the three reviews in one night! I\'m glad you enjoyed the last few chapters.

Oh, this chapter made me feel so bad for Pam. Her little breakdown when Roy was leaving was so believable. So I can see where Jim gets his charm from, his dad. So cute. Sorry, but I felt the mom came off like kind of a drunk, not that it ruined the chapter or anything, I just thought it was weird. But I did enjoy Pam's interaction with Jim's family. I loved how Jim took care of Pam and Franny after they got home, once again proving that he's a keeper. And Pam told Jim I love you FIRST. Yay!

Yay! You're back. You have no idea how much I've been looking forward to a new chapter. All the nervousness Jim felt in taking Pam to his home for the first time was very believable. So great that they are both slowly opening up to actually be able to say how much they enjoy being with eachother. Very proud of Jim's trying to be honest. I know how difficult that can be for someone who's always bottling things up inside. Just give in Pam. Who can resist Jim Halpert? And this: “grilled cheese by itself is just a lunch, but add tater tots and you’ve got a dinner” Ha! That's what I try to pass off as dinner sometimes and it works with my kid :)

Great chapter!

This chapter just had me smiling throughout because they're finally starting to open up with eachother. Sounds like both of their lives have had too much sadness. It's about time for some happy! You're doing such a wonderful job with this story italianfood. I always look forward to the next chapter.

This brought tears to my eyes: "Hi baby. I missed you. Did you miss me?" I can really feel how much Jim loves Franny. So can Pam. Yay! Pam's going to forgive him. She can see deep down what a good guy Jim really is. I realize it's been awhile for Jim, but he needs to do more talking and less kissing. :) Pretty funny that she won't let him leave to get food. I wouldn't let him leave either! Such a sweet chapter and that is a beautiful song.

I woke up thinking, "Hmm, we seem about due for an update from italianfood." Imagine my glee when I checked this site. Leave it to Phyllis and Kelly to spill the beans. You do angst very well. Can't wait to hear Jim try to explain what's taken him so long to fess up to Pam. I really feel for the guy. I do know what it's like to be with someone who doesn't like to talk about things. It sure takes a lot of patience, which I am sure Pam will have once Jim comes clean. Less angsty stuff is good, but this was a really good chapter.

Yeah! Happy to see a new chapter. Ha! Both Pam and Franny are in bad moods because they miss Jim. I can see how Jim would feel guilty for being so happy. Hopefully Jon can knock some sense into Jim. Good for Pam for not letting Jim off the hook. It's time for Jim to let Pam in on his past though. I'm all teary eyed, feeling so bad for both of them.

I was wondering where you've been italianfood. So glad this chapter was a long one and explained how Jim's wife died, the way their marriage was and why he feels so guilty. I hope Pam can help him move on (if she forgives him for not going back to her house). The lunch date was quite the shocker (but in a nice way). Another excellent chapter!

How's the update on your other story going? No pressure. :)

Author's Response: I\'m writing dunder hall right now. Sorry for the long delay, I took a mini vacation. Not really, I\'ve just had a wee bit of writers block. But now that it\'s over we can get back to quicker updates. woohoo.

Sneaky! When you ended chapter 4 you promised a date in the next chapter and dumb me assumed it would be Jim and Pam! Glad she didn't enjoy the date with Toby. I am loving that these two are getting along so well and everything seems so natural and comfortable for them to hang out together. Franny and Jim just tug at my heartstrings. Great job, each and every chapter.

italianfood, I've read this one since the beginning (not that it's that long, but got excited to see a new story from you because I like your other one). This chapter brought tears to my eyes. I've been on the verge with the other chapters. Am glad to hear that a date is on the horizon and that they'll both find some happiness. Can't wait for more.

Jim's discovered Pam's love for art. Looking forward to reading how Jim helps Pam rediscover her love for it. And them not actually having sex, but sharing the same bed for over six weeks? Sorry, but I find that hard to believe. Who'd be able to resist Jim? Not me! ;) Ha! I'd like to take a Jim Halpert day! Boy, Roy sure did a number on Pam's self confidence. Please don't let Roy hang around too long. And Sara, you make me want to slap her. Pam needs to stand up to that girl, even though Sara believes that she's trying to help her sis. Glad that Jim's not going to disappear while Roy does whatever he's going to try to do. So glad to see these long chapters from you. I'm always checking the "Most Recent" for updates from you.

This is the prettiest chapter of all the chapters. :) Okay, never mind my dumb Roy imitation. Seriously, this is my favorite chapter. Not that I haven't enjoyed the other chapters, but this one's perfect. It's about damn time Pam has come to her senses about her feelings for Jim. I love the way you've written Jim, but Pam has annoyed me now and again here. Thanks!

Author's Response: I agree, she has been a little annoying.  But people are like that sometimes, so I guess it's true to life.  I, too, am glad she's coming to her senses.  She clearly has some issues to work through.

Stablergirl, I don't think I've ever read a fic that made me so angry at Pam. I hope Jim lets her have it when she goes to him to apologize. She is going to him to apologize right? Preferably at his house? I can't tell you enough how much I am enjoying this story.
