I actually intended it to refer to her giant chalk mural, which she would have to sfumato to get the colors to blend. But, looking at that, I realize I am just much more brilliant than I give myself credit for. *preen* Kidding! That's actually a really good observation; I'll admit I wiki'd the term, too, just to be sure I wasn't confusing it with chiaroscuro or something. I suppose it must have stuck
