You already know that I adore this, but I suppose I should reiterate it here. I thought that the rooftop was the absolute perfect place for the proposal, and you managed to pull it off without hitting us over the head with meta cliches. Until I'm potentially proven wrong in September, this is the route that I choose to believe that Jim and Pam chose after GT.

Author's Response:

Thanks!  I just had a hard time believing that Pam would let that night go without saying something to Jim.  They haven't gotten this far by falling back into their old pattern of not talking about things.

Glad you liked it!  :-)

Oh, my. This? Was just so fantastically, brilliantly written. You managed to take a "throw-away" character -- one that is mostly used for comic relief, no less -- and just constructed this amazing story centered around him. I won't lie...I actually got misty-eyed at a few of the passages, heh. Definitely one of my favourite stories in quite a long while, gorgeous writing all around.

Author's Response: It's funny, but because I spent so much time thinking about how Mose evolved, I completely forgot he was a throwaway character until you said that. Thank you for taking the time to comment, jenn; I'm so happy you enjoyed it.

LOVE it! I'm only a casual watcher of House (have seen maybe a total of ten episodes?), but I've seen it enough to know that you've got his sarcastic, borderline-asshole voice down pat.

He leaned forward even further, his face serious. “Karen lies,” House declared.

Hee. I got far too much enjoyment out of those two lines. Can't wait to see where this goes!
