AMAZING. Glad to see this one is back!

Hand to blog: I was sitting there reading the first Jim section being like "you're playing a dangerous game, Jim. One bad click and you're outed." And THEN IT HAPPENED. Great minds.

"It was him. He had found her. He wanted to find her." EEEP.

Some interesting parallelism to canon here... as always, the arrival of Jim isn't just about a transfer of affection but about making Pam realize she's unsatisfied with how things are.

""You're a grown man, son. Despite the fact that you just put Fruity Pebbles and grape soda in my shopping cart." If being a grown-up means eating Fruity Pebbles for breakfast whenever you want, what's even the point?

Okay. I love Betsy.

"He wasn’t always the perfect boyfriend, but he tried. For every time he messed up, he made sure to sincerely make up for it afterward. But gradually, after being together for a few years, he began to ask for forgiveness less often and rather just expect it instead." This sounds spot on.

Okay, THAT'S a twist ending, and now you owe us an update ASAP as possible.

First off, OW. The Season 9 vibes are strong and painful. I feel like we don't necessarily get a great sense of how much *Jim* is worried that they're losing what they had, and seeing that in his eyes and expressed through all these classic Jam moments in chilling.

But also: the image of them dressed up in Nightmare Before Christmas costumes for actual Christmas is amazing, and feels like a Halpert family thing.

Okay, the reveal that (y/n) was actually Creed alone made this one worth the price of entry, and gives this whole thing a reread bonus - it's the Creed POV fic we've always wanted but were too afraid to ask for. This feels like how Creed would retell the story of how Jim and Pam actually got together. (Also, it explains how he knew Dwight would have a pigeon... and to call him Dwayne... this all holds up remarkably well.)

"(y/n) would know, since they’re a professional wedding go-er." How dare you.

“My life is what’s wrong!!” In my head, this is basically John Krasinski doing his best impression of Steve Carell in Safety Training.

“Dwight, why do you look even more annoying than usual?”

“Oh yeah lol.” You have just adroitly captured the essence of Jim and Dwight here. I will treasure it forever.

"Maybe the hot dogs are mixed berry flavor." Ew indeed.

"You make my heart feel like it’s riding a scooter." This will forever be my headcanon for what the teapot note said.

"Yeah, but he got hot dogs and that’s a total dealbreaker. It’s only been like thirty minutes, so it doesn’t really count anyway." Real talk, he's probably off having sex with a bridesmaid right now. While eating a hot dog.

"Walmart, of course. That’s his favorite place to go when he’s sad! Ok. I can find him!" Oh dear lorde.

"Yep. We helped a Gumby impersonator admit his true feelings. Got some random chick to drive us to Walmart. Got enough free hot dogs to last a couple of weeks. I’d say we made out good." Yes you did, Creed. Yes you did.

Angela shutting down Kelly going in for the high-five is amazing. In general I love the Kelly voice here. I can clearly hear Mindy delivering these lines.

" ‘no Kelly, we've only been dating each other for like four months and it's too soon to have a baby and we're still seeing other people and I don't like committing to things'." Kelly, you're horrible but I enjoy you anyways. And for the record, I think her overtly sexual advertising approach would have both gotten attention and been right up Creed's alley.

Eeep! Fun set-up with them going up against each other. Classic rom-com scenario in the making. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Kelly of course has a nose for this sort of thing and no filter. Love that you worked in Pam's infamous pink sweater. And Kevin and Oscar are hilarious here.

If Ryan wasn't so awful, I'd feel bad for him here. Jim is setting a high bar to clear.

They are adorably smitten here. Really fun to read. And I think you captured that post-first night together awkwardness well. And also drunk Pam. Who is amazing.

Pam has a very high percentage of people in her life who are The Worst. Which is such a sharp contrast from Jim, whose people are mostly pretty awesome. Poor Pam.

This is a fun working in of Jim's uber-fast engagement ring purchase... and I'm glad to see the Princes landed on their feet.

Lol at Larisa immediately throwing Jim under the bus. And I like the dynamic between him and his dad, feels worth exploring...
