I did like it! This is a lovely version--I like how you both integrated canon elements and your own versions of things we didn't get to see and made it feel seamless.

Summary:

It started with the priest dying. It should've ended with the priest dying, but it didn't.

Pam is about to marry Roy and things aren't going exactly according to plan...

Wow. Glad your cousin exists but that's some freaky stuff. Nice transposition though. Worked well.

Author's Response: I’m glad my cousin exists too! I’m also glad my mother fills me in on things that have happened because truth is stranger than fiction sometimes...

Summary: Jim isn't satisfied with the way he left Pam on the beach. In the middle of the night, he needs answers.

I think this was plenty happy. At least it made me plenty happy and they end up in a good place, ya know? Lovely writing as always.

Summary: One night in Stamford, Jim finds himself receiving a phone call from the one person he has been trying to forget, but when he picks up, Jim finds his feelings for Pam renewed. With a hundred and fifty miles between them and the inability to see one another, both Pam and Jim finds themselves avoiding the question of whether dreams can be made a reality until one of the branches finally closes down and life throws a new set of circumstances their way. Season 3 AU starts after Gay Witch Hunt.

Karen's kind of oblivious here isn't she. I mean, at least S3 Karen didn't have Jim reacting to Pam normally...
Nice story though. I'm really enjoying it.

Author's Response: She is kind of, but I feel that season 3 Karen never really saw who Jim actually was in many ways. I am glad you're enjoying and thank you for your lovely comment.

Summary:

Michael inadvertently attempts to smooth things over between Pam and Jim. Who would want two of their very best friends to be miserable after all?

Set after The Convention.

Why do you keep doing s3 fix it fics? Because they're awesome. That is a great setup and I want more. Especially Dwight telling on Pam accidentally while Michael is doing it intentionally.

Author's Response: Awesome, maybe? But also because there is so much to fix in Season 3!

Dwight accidentally giving things away to Jim was the idea that kicked this off, so I’m glad you liked it.
Thanks Comfect!

I'm loving this Michael. He's a very silly person, so keep it up.
Also I really wish she'd sent the first one ("I miss your stupid face.") because I think it would have really hit him in the head with how she was actually feeling. But maybe that's just me. I really enjoyed all the parts of this. Please keep going.

Author's Response: Oh, I’m glad! I was very tempted to have her send the first draft ;)

Thanks Comfect!

This was a delight of awkwardness (which thus feels very in character for this season). I especially liked the glitter bomb comparison. Yay story!

Author's Response:

I think “delight of awkwardness” is going to be my new bio for everything... Thanks for the review!

Oh that is both so sweet and so in all their characters that I cannot wait to see Michael's reaction when he finds out. So delightful a premise. Good work.

Author's Response: Thanks Comfect! I hope Michael’s reaction (when I finally post it) lives up to your expectations.

Summary:

"When you're a kid, you assume your parents are soulmates. My kids are gonna be right about that."

Pam on soulmates and finding her person.

I really enjoyed this conceit and also the execution. Very appropriate to Pam's character and also to the idea you presented up front. Well done.

Author's Response: Thanks Comfect! It’s nice to hear you found it in character for Pam.

Summary:

I know it's cruel

But I kind of hope you're tortured too

Some of Pam's feelings throughout Season 3.

Lots of angst there. Well written. One idea on multi chapter fics: as agian could tell you, they can be based on songs too.

Author's Response: That's true! Maybe I'll try to do my next song fic as a multi chapter. Thank you for reviewing, I'm glad you liked it!

Summary: No one is allowed to love. It’s illegal, end of story. So, what happens when two people who can’t help their feelings decide it’s worth the risk if it means they can be together?

This is an interesting story idea and I'm intrigued to see what you do with it. It reminds me of the kind of stories Rach3l used to write her--which is intended as a massive compliment btw.

I'm no stickler for long chapters, so this pacing works for me. Nice to know Jim's POV here too. Crazy law but a nice setup.

Different rules in different universes. And dialogue is like a muscle I find: needs exercise but you have to build up to it. This is good.

Hey, I just caught up with this. I really like the world building you've done, and this Michael is very sweet, which is a part of his character that I think often gets underdone. Nice work!

I have to say, Jim took it pretty well that she spilled that secret, though of course technically a) Michael guessed and b) he's obviously getting something out of it.

Oh yay! I'm so glad that this worked out. Honestly, I think Karen makes more sense here though: Roy's not the sort to think through the "we should date if our partners are dating" thing, whereas she's more cerebral. Good chapter!

"doing this three times now"--OK, now I really really want to know who else they did it for.

Oh God don't let it be Toby.

But this is adorable and I like it.

Thanks for the very cute ending! It does make me wonder if her parents wouldn't have known (and the Andersons of course, plus Halperts/Filipellis) but on the other hand, in this universe all 4 of them are happier this way--so hopefully that would quiet any parental/familial concerns. Lovely fic! I know you're planning on one-shotting for a while, but I'd very much welcome more longer fics if you have them in you!

But did they sanitize the table!?! Inquiring Dwights want to know!

This was great. I love everything about it.

Author's Response: Haha. Did they? Probably not. Did Dwight whilst bemoaning Jim’s ineptitude? Probably yes.

Thanks!

Summary: In the Booze Cruise episode, Roy's motivated to set a wedding date because Captain Jack tells a story about getting married to the love of his life. But what effect would it have on Roy if the story was about how Captain Jack happily avoided marriage? Let’s see what happens.

I was a little surprised to have the extra dialogue between Jim and Pam as well as the different story for and reaction by Roy, but nothing wrong with a little double AU action. Nice setup. I'd be interested in Katy's POV too if you wanted; after all, Jim>Roy for so many of us...

Author's Response: I gave Katy some voice. I liked her viewpoint.

Interesting turn, to have the boat action just slow down and everyone go home. I'm intrigued to see how people's thoughts churn overnight, or even in the car.

That last visit with Jim POV is a fascinating angle given its contrast with Pam's POV. Oh what a tangled web...not that anyone is being deceived necessarily, but boy they are in the thick of it--which is appropriate for this point in S2. Good work.

Nice work from Katy at the end there. And yes, I think you're doing a very good job of little moments adding up. Little observations. It's a nice pace.
