I’ve read here for probably close to 10 years and never made an account to review (shame on me I know) but THIS story made me make one! I’m so addicted! I look forward to reading your updates every night when I put my daughter to bed for the night...I don’t know what I’ll do when this is over 😭 I’ll be looking forward to your next story! Love the daily updates.

I tried guessing many times during the course of the last few weeks just how exactly they were going to figure out who they’ve been talking to all these years. I had finally decided it would be after casino night...that they’d be online and one of them would say what happened and they’d finally put two and two together...and then you threw out the first date story and I love that idea way more than anything I had thought up! This story is amazing and I can’t wait to see what happens next...and I vote yes for an epilogue 👍🏻👍🏻

Well, what can I say? I'm very flattered to hear that, and very glad that you're reading along. I thought about trying to get as far as Casino Night, but I didn't think I had the imagination to keep them from noticing until then. Can you imagine Booze Cruise? I'm glad it worked for you to have it go where it did.

 And I definitely won't say shame on you for taking forever to make an account; I didn't until I started writing here, but you better believe I read the majority of the fics I've read here before I got the account name. I did go back and review/jellybean/appreciate my old favorites from before, but obviously not all of them (*hangs head*). Thanks for formally joining us (though you've actually been one of "us" forever)!

What a wonderful ride this story has been! I looked forward to every chapter and selfishly I waited a few days to read the epilogue once I saw it posted...just because I wasn’t ready for it to end.

From one medic to another- it was refreshing to see medical aspects added to a story that were accurate! Haha. Nice to see my two loves-the office and paramedicine- combined in a believable way. Totally enjoyed every part of this and I hope to see more adventures of Jamie and Morgan!

Author's Response: Another Medic around these parts?! Holy crap! Why didn't you tell me sooner? Ah well. Actually I realized something a while back about the cardiac arrest chapters. They're based on 2010-2015 AHA guidelines, however at that point in the story it's what 2006? So Vasopressin should have been there for the first and/or second round of Epi. Ah well, I'll take off my medic nerd glasses now.

I'm very glad you enjoyed this story. It was a lot of fun to put it all together. Please feel free add more feedback to future writings as well. I always value what readers have to say. Thanks again.

I come here at night when I’m putting my daughter to bed and I’m always happy to see updates from you! This time...two?! How exciting! Loved how you handled the Karen/Ryan stuff and threw in some back story on Kelly. While I love stories that show Pam and Jim finding their way to each other I also love reading stories that get them together early on...the build up and repair of their relationship is fun to read and you’re doing a great job of making it interesting while adding in those cliffhangers! Looking forward to the next update!!

The part with Pam and Penny making their way from the train station to the apartment was written so well I could see it playing out in my head. Love how you made it so Pam was single...makes for one less obstacle for Jim to overcome to get his lady...cause being a pilot in the war seems like enough of an obstacle to me haha. I knew it was going to be Todd Packer in the bar scene before you had him introduce himself just by your description so again...awesome job setting the scene so vividly! Ready for the next chapter! 👍🏻

Author's Response: One of my favorite authors once said, "paint a picture with words." It's a thought that's stuck with me during a lot of my writings. I'm glad I was able to help you imagine the scenes clearly. Yeah, I wanted Roy out of the way early this time. For basically those reasons, and my inherent dislike of Roy in general. So much happened in this chapter! Where to even begin?! I had been wondering how Michael would fit into this storyline...definitely can’t see him in the military! This is perfect though! Loved how he had his moment to be sweet Michael...it’s always endearing to see that side of him. The “never, ever, ever give up” line is one of my favorites from the show and I enjoyed seeing it as their motto! Also adding in the other female cast members was a nice surprise!

The telegram got me for a minute but I thought- no, warrior wouldn’t do that to us...right? Haha! I was relieved it wasn’t anything awful. The proposal was sweet...made me smile and think of the gas station proposal. Spur of the moment -can’t wait any longer...you captured that feeling perfectly!

Looking forward to what happens next!

Author's Response: MCapps! Wonderful to hear from you again! I'm so glad you liked this chapter. I had a lot of fun bringing it together so I'm glad you liked it too. Yeah, there was no way I was going to let Michael anywhere near the military. Michael with heavy weaponry? Not so much. So that left the door open for the Sweet Michael moment. 

The telegram shouldn't really have been anything to worry about really. Remember, we still haven't caught up to the prologue yet. But still I'm glad it did get a reaction like this though.

The proposal was most assuredly inspired by the gas station, but there's also some lines from "Casino Night" in there as well as the foreheads touching and simultaneous I love you from "Paper Airplanes."

I'll start working on this one after Christmas and after I finish up the Christmas story I'm working on at the moment as well. Glad you liked this chapter. Always fun to hear from you.

I’m glad I had an evening free to sit back and catch up on Silver Wings. You really paint the picture well with your words and each chapter is so realistic and vivid. Like last chapter, I could picture Ryan’s smug face and as the guys told what really happened how his demeanor changed. This chapter was so fun! The songs were amazing... I almost felt as if I were there hearing them. Love that Jim got to see his brother. I’m sure that’s quite the mood boost he needed after the day he experienced. Looking forward to seeing what is next :)

My eyebrows literally raised when I read the last line! I wasn’t expecting that at all. Definitely very interested to see how that works out!

Their list of things to do when Jim gets back looks an awful lot like a list of one shots that could be written once this is finished 😉 Just sayin. Haha!

As always, enjoyed this update! Glad things have settled down some for you! I know the adjustment from one kid to two was rough for me for a bit but it definitely gets easier. Congratulations on the new baby and I hope everyone is doing well!

Glad I can still keep people on their toes with this one. I'm really liking the List of Things to do When Jim Gets Back as well. I've had some ideas for that, but I'm always on the lookout for new material, so thank you.

I’m not too sure why I thought this was just a one shot. I got to the end and was so disappointed that it was ending...but thankfully I was wrong!! Whew! I was instantly drawn into this and as always found myself visualizing each scene. You always do such a great job with that. I’m curious as to how long Pam will put up with Roy’s crap. Who proposes like that?! Only Roy haha. Glad she stood up for herself though and love the timing of Jim’s text. Looking forward to another great adventure from you Warrior! 🤞🏻
