I love Toby in this chapter.  This line:  Toby lingered awkwardly, then said quietly, almost inaudibly: "You and Jim...you're both really lucky." is so great.

And I loved this:  But here she was, and he knew instinctively that she was teetering on the edge of something. Or maybe she'd already fallen.

Such a great chapter.  I really love this story.

I love the dimensions you've added to Darryl and the explanation of the synthesizer is just so real and organic.  And very, very original.  And I loved the end.  Darryl is awesome.

I am giddy over this chapter, moxie.  Completely giddy.  I would comment on the first half of the chapter but time doesn't exist for me until that shower scene.  I can't even count how many times my stomach did a cartwheel reading Jim and Pam finally being able to be together.  I love how you've made their first physical contact so sweet and beautiful and so worth the wait.  I canNOT wait to read Chapter 12!

Such a perfect and sweet chapter.  I loved Jim being Pam's "date" and the flirting, and the KISS...oh, and the snuggling in bed.  I am truly hooked on this.  I can't wait to see what gift Parma brings on the 7th day!

Wow, I really like this.  Whoever is giving Jim these gifts (hehe) is verrrry creative.  I loved when he got irritated at Karen asking him for a chocolate bar.  And I loved that he blew off her offer for dinner.  I can't wait to see what he gets next!

Poor Karen.  Oh, well. 

This line made me catch my breath:  When he's gone, Jim fixes her with a smoldering glare. "We're not done here, Beesley."

So hot, sweet and such a great read, Paper Jam!

Seriously, nothing hotter than Jim playing basketball. 

I love the idea of Pam getting Jim so turned on, and him getting all flustered.  And I love their playful banter.

These Vignettes just confirm for me that Jim and Pam are meant to be, and you just sort of know that all they really need to be happy is each other.

This was cute, and I wasn't expecting the ending, but more importantly, I laughed so hard at the movie they were watching and their commentary on it.  Seriously.  I laughed out loud for like ten minutes.

I love Pam and Jim in this story.  The flour-fight, playfulness, Jim's proposal...all so great and sweet.

You have such a wonderful way of writing perfect little details.  I love the idea of Darryl trying to help Roy get over Pam and every one of Roy's flashbacks was so realistic,

This broke my heart: He could tell by her voice that he woke her up, but within half an hour she was there, her hair thrown into a sloppy ponytail, her eyes red from either lack of sleep or tears.  He cried in her car the whole way back to their, no, his, apartment, and begged her to stay the night with him.  He could see her hesitate, but then she helped him into bed, took off his clothes; she even sat next to him and wiped his face with a cold washcloth and told him to sleep.  By the time he woke up the next morning, she was gone.

So beautiful and sad, especially Pam not having his gift with her when she left work.  I'm glad Roy decides to give in to the dance after all.

Okay, I don't think I've read anything this funny in a long time...unless you count the first time I read this over at yankeeficswap.  First of all, Michael's car smelling like NightSwept?  Clay Aiken?  Michael's idea of a what panty raid is?  And Pam...she was in on it the whole time.  I like that Pam let it happen without calling earlier.  Of course, my personal reason for that is because I think Ryan can be kind of an ass at times.  But her reason was good too, because I think she of all people knows that you never really know what you're going to get with Michael.  I like their little moment of commiseration at the end.

Author's Response: Thanks, 69 cups! And you know what? Originally, I had a different ending. When he asked why she didn't call earlier, she was going to say, "Because you got the desk." (Jim's, that is.) But I thought that was too snarky, and the other ending fit with Pam's pro-Michael behavior this season. Anyhoo, thanks!

Wow...I love the metaphor with the stain on the carpet. 

And Roy.  Sigh.  It's so easy to fall back and surrender to someone you've been with for so long, someone who always protected you, loved you.  So I can't be mad at Pam for this.  And her reaction after the fact is so real...almost immediately thinking about Jim, the regret she feels after sleeping with Roy, etc.

I'm really loving this so far!

I always feel a little sad when I read a fic about Toby.  This isn't any different.  I wish he'd find a girlfriend already.  I don't want him to die alone either.  Nice job showing his lonliness!
