Guys!! You already know how obsessed I am with this Dream Team AND this Christmas blessing, but this gift… from DC?! I. Wasn’t. Ready. Honestly, D, now I just think you’re mean for making us wait this long to see your smutty talent!

I kinda love a quiet Jim, and I always love your take on Karen. For what it’s worth, I actually can see a tipsy fancy new Beesly letting go into a night like this. But, since it WAS a dream… please tell us there’s a spinoff happening so we can see what happens during (and after) that drink… pretty PLEASE?!

PS Did I google the proper pronunciation of coq au vin? Absolutely I did.

Summary:

He's scared to face his future. She's struggling with her past. Two brokenhearted strangers. One night in New York City.

I just really love what you're doing with this! Kevin as the bartender, the nods to Brown and Cornell, and what's valuable about her handbag... so good. Hope to see another update soon :)

Coley! On a Sunday morning?!

I love 1) a stubborn and determined Beesly with her best challenge accepted glare and she was gloriously sprinkled throughout this one 2) Jim having the exact right feelings about his girl and her porn 3) them flowing in and out of character and not taking the role playing too seriously, and 4) the way you so perfectly mix their banter and love with all. of. the. smut.

I hate you for your Oxford comma stance, but love you for giving us Professor Jim. I do have one question though - does this mean Jim gets to fuck the receptionist in the stairwell at the office for St. Patrick’s Day?

Summary:

When it is revealed that Pam missed out on the joys of her senior prom, Jim and Michael bring the employees of Dunder Mifflin together for a night that everyone will remember.

Not at *all* inspired by Savage Garden.

I see you with the weird and ridiculous hammy stretch! I really love that while Jim seeks her out throughout the night, Pam is the one that keeps actually taking the lead.

Also, I seriously can't wait to make a playlist based on this prom once the story is wrapped up. Truly, Madly, Deeply? Jump Around? No Diggity!! How's It Going To Be?! C'mon.

For what it's worth, I wouldn't be mad at a follow up either!

Jenna! I wasn't ready for this! Such a beautiful and romantic surprise. The imagery in your stories is always incredible, and this is no exception. I love the inclusion of "the blue deepening into a vibrant plum."

Author's Response: Ava! I was so happy to see a review from you! Please review all the things! Thanks so much!

Shattering THE teapot should be considered an act of sacrilege... and yet I really love what you did here in having it piece them back together. It's also fantastic to see the lovable sides of Dwight and Michael.

Please don't stop posting!

Author's Response:

I love teapots. I kind of collect them in real life, so like I hate myself a little for that creative choice. But, something had to break to put them back together...

Summary: A first date fic in which things don't go the way either of them had planned. They flirt, they fight, they fu...uh, they figure it out.

He. Left. THE SKIRT. On.
BT, never leave us again, ok? Please and thank you.

PS “Hey, idiot, it’s just a soda. There are far superior drinks..." was absolute perfection. The timing and the line.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I hope to not have a hiatus like my last one again and Iím so glad to have come back to a place that is maybe even more active than it was back when I disappeared! And I LOVE how many people are so thrilled with the skirt staying on. Iím so glad I could deliver! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Jenna, you have such a beautiful writing style. I love that you chose to use different perspectives, and I’m obsessed with how you tied in the “pack us up” and “warning sign” lyrics.

It's really nice seeing a bit of the teddy bear side of Roy. I know he's like the poster child for bad boyfriends in your 20's, but there's a reason Pam once chose him. I mean aside from what a hottie he must’ve been at 20 ;)

“I can’t,” he pauses and she swears he almost nudges the corners of his lips up in the makings of a smile. - Come ON!

My favorite line just might be: It settles a little like a poker chip and he knows this time he can’t lose.

I really can't wait to see what else Folklore inspires.

Author's Response: Ava! I’m always delighted to see a review from you! You’re too kind.

I’m obsessed with how Taylor told the story of JAM in her whole damn album. Also, I can’t stop listening to it. Don’t send help.
I’m glad you’re picking up the Roy that I’m putting down. I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I really am down with the teddy bear side of Roy.
Haha, I’m so glad that “I can’t” and his smiled landed. Maybe it’s a little insensitive in the middle of a break up, but I don’t even care, because he gets it now, you know?
If folklore wanted to inspire you I wouldn’t be mad...
