I was just thinking about this story when your update showed up. I love how you are going with this. I like the slow movement in their relationship. No matter how much passion and love they have, Pam has just got out of/sort of from an engagement and facing a complete betrayal while he has merely re-entered her life.

I like the detailing on Angela's and Dwight's characters. They seem exactly like themselves in an AU, navigating their relationship just the same way except this time around, they are more tactful- no complaints there. 1 This is Pure Gold. This was incredible and I am hooked already.
I always sided a lil towards Pam during season 9 because somehow I had more sympathies for the mother putting her kids to bed alone than the father who is going around in limo and missing his daughter’s recital.
Loved how in depth your characters are and how well you wrote about their feelings and expressions.

I really never though I'd write a Season 9 story - mine are usually more gushy love stories than angst-fests (with the exception of Copper Strands) but the songs got inside of me and pulled the words out of me. (wish Jim and Pam had heard them so it would pull the words out of them)
I really tried to put forth both perspectives because I can see things from both their sides and see how they both were at fault in some ways.

Season 3 angst is something I’ll never get over and I just adore all the work which dwells into their minds and hearts, sharing their take on what happened beyond the cameras.
It was hurtful, painful, full of yearning and heartbreaking but they had to dip that low in their relationship arc to come up ever so in love.
