It’s good to see you back!
It seems that Karen has finally figured
out that she doesn’t have a chance with Jim.
The graffiti is funny and well deserved.
I can understand why Pam would be nervous about Roy not having to do time, because he is the type of guy that would go after her,or Jim, out of revenge.
Please update soon! You’ve been missed.

Author's Response:

You really are the sweetest, thank you so, so much x

Jim should get Phyllis to apologize to Pam as well because she treated Pam like trash when Roy was telling lies to the people in the office, after Pam left
him. At least Angela had the decency to apologize
to Pam when she learned the truth about Roy.
Phyllis didn’t.

Jim was right to talk to Daryl about apologizing
to Pam. Even though Daryl knew that Roy treated
her badly, the guy still defended Roy in court.
Plus I do think that Daryl was right about Jim
not wanting to see the truth, but at least Jim owned up to the fact that he took the easy way out because it was too difficult of a problem.
I do like seeing Pam gain confidence by taking charge of the shower scene.
Are we going to see Roy’s sentencing hearing?

Author's Response: Hi. Thank you for reading again. Absolutely we will see the sentencing. I'm working on the next chapter and it will be either the chapter after that or one after that depending. But yes definitely.

Nice twist to seeing Pam giving Jim comfort.
I can understand why he would be concerned that Pam would still have feelings for Roy.
I like Jim’s way of asking Pam to move in with him.

I loved this chapter!
I thought Roy was going to have another outburst.
Instead he showed his true colors of being weak
in front of people that aren’t scared of him.
I loved the Michael and Dwight parts.
That is something they would do. 😂
You had me going there for a second when the first verdict came in of not guilty!
Roy’s mom is as crazy as he is. I loved seeing Pam tell her off, and saying how the woman that
she is the reason her sons turned out the way they did. Now I’m curious as to what punishment Roy
will get now that he’s been convicted.
Please update soon! 🫖

Yes, that was one hell of a cliffhanger!
I’m glad that you skipped over Roy’s lawyer’s
closing statement. I wish had an inkling of what’s
going to happen with the verdict, but there’s been
so much back and forth between accusations and blame, I really don’t know which direction you are going to take it. Either way, it’s good to see that no matter what happens, Pam knows she is free of Roy. Please update soon.

Murphy’s closing statement was very powerful,
and right on point, about how other women can become victims of Roy’s violence.
However, I can understand Pam’s doubts of Roy not being convicted. Roy’s lawyer is so slimy that
he would do anything to poke holes in Murphy’s
statement, to cause doubt in the jury.
At least Jim had the foresight to come up with
a plan to take Pam away in case things don’t
go their way.
I would love to see perhaps a chapter, or an epilogue, that takes place in the future where
we can see what has happened in JAM’s
life after the trial. Perhaps a C&P cameo.🤔
Yes, I have to admit that I would like to know
what could have happened to Roy, Kenny,
and even Karen, in the future as well.
You can call it morbid curiosity.
Lots of teapots for you.

You don’t give yourself enough credit
because this was a good chapter.
It’s seems as though Pam was having a panic attack that actually helped her have
a breakthrough.
It was like once she made it through the attack she knew that she was going to be okay,
no matter what happens with Roy.

What is happening with Pam?!
Is her mental/emotional trauma causing
her to become catatonic?
Roy’s mom is a nasty bitch!
It’s no wonder Roy is so messed up.
At least Helene’s testimony wasn’t too damaging to Pam’s case.
I have to admit that I’m nervous about
Roy not being convicted by the jury.
Also what is going on at the office while
the trial is going on?
Did the rest of the DM characters find out
what has been happening?
Please update soon!

I had a feeling that Roy was from an
abusive childhood.
It was because he thought that what he did to Pam as more of a punishment, which in his mind she brought on herself.
Plus in Pam’s memory Roy was saying that
she is just like all the other girls he had been
with, so there is a clear pattern of abuse
with Roy, and Pam wasn’t the only girl he hurt.
Unfortunately the in typical abuser fashion,
Roy is trying to make himself the victim, and there could be people on the jury that would agree.
I can understand why Pam would lie about going to Penny’s parties. Roy didn’t like Penny because she didn’t think he walked on water, like the parents did, so he tried to isolate the two sisters.
Roy talking about Jim’s pranks was pretty funny, even though it didn’t put Jim in the best light.

I just read Warrior 4’s review, and I agree that I would love to see Pam’s family rip into Roy’s mom for raising such a monster. Especially since Roy’s mom is such a bitch.

It doesn’t surprise me that Roy actually believes the things he’s saying about the abuse.
I think it’s common for a person to not see
it as abuse if they think they have been in
wronged in some way. It’s kind of like when a
person with an addiction will look for any excuse they can to use their drug of choice.
It’s always someone else’s fault.
The members of the public who were in the courtroom were jerks. Even if Pam had been cheating with Jim, that doesn’t give Roy the right to hurt her. The scary thing is that there could be people on the jury that thinks the same way.
Why didn’t Murphy show the pictures of Pam to the jury? Please update soon.

Karen is now starting to give me the creeps.
Even if Pam didn’t work at DM that doesn’t mean Jim would go for Karen. Also Pam is pretty much the only real reason Jim even stayed there.
How did others in the office find out that Roy had
been abusing Pam?
It was good to see Michael defend Pam’s job against Karen.
Pam is the Money Penny of the office.
What’s going on with Roy’s case?
Please update soon!
I’ve been really missing this story.

It’s nice to a chapter without crazy Karen.
I have to say that the writers were correct to name her Karen.
I can kind of understand why Pam’s parents went to see Roy. They sort of considered him a son for all those years. So finding out out what he did to Pam was a betrayal to them. I think that another reviewer is right in that Roy doesn’t see himself as doing anything wrong. It probably has to with the way he was raised. Seeing his mom jump to his defense is a sign. I can also see why Pam would be upset that her parents went to see him.
She’s probably afraid they may turn against her if
they see Roy, especially since her mom took Roy’s side at the start of all of this. Also I think Pam is trying to get some closure when it comes to Roy, but she can’t do that if people are pulling
him back her life.

So does Michael’s call with Utica mean that Karen
will soon be out of the way?
It was nice to see JAM doing something normal
like playing pranks on Dwight, and having a little fun. I agree that Pam should call for help even if she’s mistaken. It’s better to be safe than sorry given her history of trauma.

Roy’s mom is awful. It’s no wonder he turned out the way he did. I don’t think that Roy’s defense lawyer came of as being very convincing in his opening statement. The issue that makes me a bit nervous is that Roy is using JAM’s relationship to
come off as the wounded party.
I love how Jim’s mom came to support Pam.
Also how is Jim’s dad doing? Does he know about what is going with JAM?
Also what about how Kenny and Roy attacked Jim at the office in front of the warehouse people?
Why would that not be used in the trial?
You’re doing a really good job of showing how Pam is getting her strength through these challenges she is going through.
I love Pam’s memories of her night with Jim, especially since she is the one that took charge by starting it. Once the trial is over Pam should go back to the office and shove it in Karen’s face. 😂

Author's Response: Hello. Thank you for still reading. Yes - the attack on Jim comes up naturally in the trial. There was a specific part of the attack that is used and comes up at a few places soon/there are questions. Thank you for reading, and since this is leading to the wrap up, feel free to ask anything you want answered before the end.

Roy’s lawyer is a real ass. It’s no wonder
he defends people like Roy. The taxi cab driver is clueless about Pam’s condition that night.
It’s completely clear that she was in shock.
Even if, by chance, Pam was cheating with Jim,
it doesn’t excuse the abuse Roy did to her.
Also what about when Roy screamed at Pam in the last time they were in court?
There were witnesses to that. So couldn’t the prosecutor use that against Roy?

Please tell me that the jury witnessed Roy’s outburst!
He is definitely the kind of person that would hang themselves, given enough rope.
I think that Pam was right when she thought that Roy would always expect her to be there no matter how evil he was.
That’s probably what he Roy felt in canon as well, so he could take her granted.

I like that you can still include humor into such an intense situation. I’m nervous, but not surprised, about Pam’s mom having to testify for Roy.
After all she did take Roy’s side when Pam first left Roy. So of course Roy’s defense is going to take advantage of it. I can understand Jim’s frustration because, even though, Pam loves him,
she’s still having a hard time having faith in another guy and relationship.

You don’t have to worry about trying
to wrap up this story because I would
be happy to see it go on forever.
Jim was right that Roy didn’t really deny the abuse.
Roy is definitely the type of person who doesn’t see it as abuse if it’s to punish the other person.
Also will there be some sort of epilogue?
I’m out of jellybeans for this story, so here’s a 🫖.
Please update soon.

A very heavy and emotional chapter.
Between everyone in the courtroom being mesmerized by Jim’s testimony, and Roy’s
outburst, it looks there is like light at the end
of the tunnel for Pam. I’m sure Roy’s lawyer will
give Jim a hard time, but I’m confident that
Jim will be able to handle it. Even Roy’s own lawyer seems to understand that Roy keeps digging a bigger hole for himself.
I would give you more jellybeans if I could.
So how about a teapot? 🫖

Roy just keeps shooting himself in the foot.
His actions in the courtroom are showing
Pam’s truth to the jury. I am a little surprised that the judge kicked out Thorne as well.
I think that Thorne knows Roy has ruined
his own defense.
Oh also the office hasn’t been mentioned in a while. So I’m a bit curious as what is going on there. Also will be there be an epilogue?

Good for Pam.
She handled herself really well.
I’m happy to see that no matter what happens to
Roy she knows she is free of him. I have to say that I’m still not a fan of Pam’s mom, so a part of me wants her to feel major guilt over how she handled the situation with Roy. Yes Roy lied to Pam’s mom, but Helene still should have put her daughter first instead of pushing Pam back to Roy.
I can’t say I’m surprised that Roy thinks of himself as the victim. That’s why he doesn’t see himself as doing anything wrong. It certainly doesn’t help to have a mom like what Roy has. It was good to know that the judge can understand that Pam’s sexual history has nothing to do with the abuse because even she did cheat on Roy, that doesn’t give Roy license to attack Pam.
Please update soon!

It’s scary how Roy thinks that his
abusive behavior was normal.
With his own parent is making excuses for him,
it’s no wonder Roy doesn’t see it as problem.
At least the jury has see Roy’s bad temper and outbursts.
I also like that Pam is letting the good memories
of being Jim take over the bad one with Roy.
I think it will give her more confidence in
herself, as she continues to testify.
I love how you still managed to add
some humor with Michael and Dwight.
Because even though the subject matter is very heavy, The Office is still a comedy.

Jim handled the cross examination very well.
For a while there I couldn’t tell if Roy’s disdain was for him or Roy himself. I’m sure that Roy
was not an easy client to deal with.
Roy’s mon is a giant bitch. It’s no wonder Roy (and his brother)turned out the way he did.
The whole Anderson family is trash.
