10 I am far too drunk on this update to be reviewing right now- HOLY CRAP that was good. So much I loved about it. I'll just have to reread. And reread. And reread. Two quick things though:
When Pam did the u-turn, I clapped and cheered. Alone. In my apartment.
This description of Jim: His profile was illuminated by the streetlight as he deposited her gently onto his bed, leaning over her and resting on his forearms, looking like some sort of vision she'd conjured - his chest bare, jeans resting loosely on his hips.
Yeah... I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get that image out of my head for a long time.

Yup, it’s a post-Cocktails fic! With a bit of a twist. Karen does a bad thing, and Jim is about to suffer the consequences…9 Ooooh I love me the drama! You've done really well creating such a high level of energy and urgency in this story- I can't wait for the next chapter! My heart was actually racing at certain points- most notably when Jim finally hit Roy- such a fantastic moment.
I really related to this part in chapter 3- But when all of a sudden “When the Saints Go Marching In” comes blaring from her phone, she is completely startled and bewildered. She forgot about his special ring. He hasn’t called her cell—not once—since that night, the night that she just told Roy about.
I've been there. Set a sappy ring tone to a guy (At Last. Could I have gotten any sappier?) One night, six months or so after we broke up, he called and that ring was like a frakkin dagger. Anyway, I felt it was a very real moment.
10 That was absolutely worth the wait. I'm having to open up a bottle of wine now, thanks to this delightful rollercoaster of emotion. You made my heart ache for Karen- which is no small feat.
Have you ever heard the song called F*** was I, one of the lines goes "Skillet on the stove is such a temptation, maybe I'll be the lucky one who doesn't get burned. What the *bleep* was I thinking?" I love that song, and your beautiful burn analogies reminded me of it. Love this story so much.

When I read a new chapter of Squirrel, its like this dance between my brain and my scrolling finger begins. I want to read it as slowly as possible, savor it, make it last as long as I can (TWSS), and then this other part of me wants to just devour it and devlishly tells me to read it as fast as I can, because I just HAVE to know how the new chapter ends!
I love the direction this chapter took. I'm now pretty sure Pam doesn't know. Vexin knows, oh, Vexin knows, but I don't think she's filled Pam in. Should I be curious about SaintSimon's someone? Cause I am.
You are so going to get hounded for a new chapter- I mean, COME ON! Squirrel and his lady are going to cyber! YEA! /Dwight punch. I absolutely loved how precious Jim was with the picture. It was a wonderful way to show how much he cherishes her. I think I'll be googling pictures of tall dorky guys for the rest of the day, thank you!
I apologize, I'm a bit incoherent after this last bit of wonderfulness. Does Pam know? I think she might! I think she might suspicious... Highly suspicious... Jim knowing when her art classes were in addition to McPants breaking up with his girlfriend the same night Jim broke up with Karen? A box of every color of crayons on the day McPants had suggested she find out what Jim's favorite color was? She's suspish. Oh, she's suspish. I'm curious how Dwight knew about the break up... will this be something revealed in a later chapter? Is Dwight Vexin? Hmmm...
Moxie, I would willingly enter into another six week hiatus if I knew that I had a story like this to obsess over. If this were a book, I would buy it. You need to get paid for the brilliance that is you.

Before, during, after (peas, waffles.) Post-Cocktails...but no fighting.10 This was so gorgeous- I think I was holding my breath through most of it. The moment where Pam crawls into bed with him had me clutching my chest. Its beautiful stories like this that make me scream at my tv even louder- THESE TWO NEED TO GET A CLUE!
