love this so much, you have such a way with words, its incredible, everything you write is like poetry!  we are so lucky to have you here!  My favorite line is:

The sun is still shining and the world is still turning but sometime in the night his heart dropped straight out of his chest and it’s somewhere beneath his bed, buried and dusty among all the other things he doesn’t want anymore.

The imagery, the emotions, its all just SO GOOD!  :-)

Author's Response: Saying everything I write is like poetry... um, okay, you are officially my new favorite person ever.  Thank you so much!

me: speechless

you: amaaaazing! [/kelly]

This is wonderful, i love the idea of Jim's scarf as this tangible connection to him after he's gone and while he's with Karen.  I love that when he sees her in the scarf and she tries to take it off he stops her, he wants her to wear it.. its just perfect..

Author's Response:

Me: grateful for this lovely review.

Thanksm two toasters!

This was FANTASTIC!  I've read so many Pam-finally-confesses-to-Jim fics and this is one the best.  I love Pam's rambling, Jim telling her to shut up (sweetly of course).  And of course, the clue in the form of the movie.  Eternal Sunshine is my favorite movie of all time, so naturally I was pleased that Miss Beesly adores it as well :-)  You are absolutely right on about that movie as well - I was so moved after I first saw it, its so achingly real, it broke my heart.  Just like the love between Jim and Pam.  *sigh*.. much love to you!!

wow, THANK YOU for this, so much love!!  it was moving and beautiful, and such a wonderful, original idea.  i read the story and then listened to the song immediately after, the effect was incredible.  love!

Author's Response: :333 Thank you so much. It just made sense that.. that would be the song he'd play for her. ;)

So this is going to be a review on the entire story and not any specific chapter.  I wanted to say that this is one of the best Jim and Pam stories I have ever had the pleasure of reading.  I finally got around to reading it all last night and was so completely moved, its beautiful, funny, charming, sweet, and HOT.  There are too many wonderful lines and moments to mention but I have to say that the scene in the kitchen where they are thisclose to kissing is just incredible.  I was right there in the moment, you painted the picture of that scene so magnificently I could feel what they were going through.  I also ADORED the Mark and Pam interaction!  I loved your characterization of Mark, what little we know of him from the show you took and ran with and it was just perfect!  Pam and Mark's sarcasm back and forth was hilarious and really reminded me of my relationships with guy friends of mine.  they took on a very brother-sister like relationship, i loved that he wanted to protect her when Roy showed up. and Jim attacking Pam outside?  that. was. HOT.  so, so, so much love for this story and you for writing and sharing it with us!  You = awesome.

Author's Response: um ok you win the award for the best review maybe ever.  lol look how juicy and long it is!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for reading the fic and for loving it, I'm so glad you did.  And I love Mark and Pam too ;-) Always like to have either Jim or Pam enter the other's world outside of work and fit in somehow.  It always makes me smile.  And...yeah...gotta love the hot factor.  Thanks again.  You = dundie-deserving ;-)

Gah, moxie how do you do it?!  Even looking at porno mags you make them the most adorable creatures ever.  You write Pam and Jim's voices so well, as someone who's just starting to write fanfic (haven't posted any yet but will soon) I envy you that!  We are so lucky to have you here!

Author's Response:

Wow - thank you so much!  I agree that writing Jim and Pam in a believable voice is crucial to good fanfic, so I'm awfully tickled that you think I've been able to capture it.  It must be all the time I spend obsessing about the two of them!  ;-)

I'll be looking for your writing soon!

This was lovely!  I love the adorably awkward teenage Jim and Pam, the cute, flirty banter, and pranking Dwight!  Did not see that coming and just loved it!!  Also, I love that you used first person to tell this story, great choice!

I would love to read a chapter or two about Marywood :-)

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the great review!  Stay tuned, there is likely to be a Marywood chapter in the near future! Thanks for reading :)

wahoo!  i'm so glad you decided to write this!!  I loved reading it, great job!!! my favorite parts were:

Blonde Ponytail!  absolutely cracked me up

Pack-er! Pack-er!  heee!  didn't see that coming but can totally see that happening.  He would definitely be the middle-aged bald dude that still goes to college parties.

"....rescuing ladies in Perpetual Help" smooth line, Halpert! though of course he doesn't need a line to land our dear Pamela.

"If I think about the implication of his response, I'm fairly certain everything around me will start to spin again."  This is beautiful.

loved it all!

Author's Response: When I saw the names of those dorm rooms, I couldn't resist.  It was begging to be made fun of and used.  A lot of people seem to really love the Pam line about the implications of his response, which just floors me, cause I just sort of spat it out- so it's brilliant to me that people feel so connected about it. Thank you for the amazing review and for pushing for the sequel ;-)

This was great!!  I LOVE the first person Jim perspective you used, I don't see that very often so I enjoyed it very much!  I love the idea that its Jim writing a blog and not just his inner monologue that we're peaking into.  The whole thing is so funny, I literally laughed out loud many times, my favorite lines were:

I am quite literally not qualified to do anything except correct my new boss's pronunciation of the name "Nietzsche."

Like I'm "New Wave 80's Guy" at a halloween party.

I hope you continue, I can't wait to read what he'll be saying about Pam :-)
