This picks up pre-merger and is spoiler free, a bit AU as well.  I began this back in October (maybe even September), and obviously the show has deviated quite a bit from what I speculated here.

This begins with angst, but there is a great deal of fluff, steam, smut, and silly...for several, several chapters.  My idea was to go beyond the happy ending, so to speak.

I've been intimidated by this story for awhile now.  I'm new getting to the Office and Office fanfics, so when I was perusing around and saw message boards talking about how great this fic was I knew I had to read it---but catching up on 37 chapters is kind of a lot....but let me tell you I am SOOOO glad that I finally had the time to do so (even if technically I should have been doing many other things).  Amazing job with these characters and taking them through this roller coaster--I hope you continue it all the way through the wedding, the marriage, the babies (and torn up baby blankets)....it's just too good to stop

Awww, I'm glad they have one less secret; however, I was thinking Pam was going to buy out the vending machines supply of Baby Ruth's and scratch out Ruth in favor of Halpert (dont as me why)....I'm down for whatever you want to do with the story, I'd love to read more pregnancy moments, but I completely understand the desire to just wrap up a story you've been working on for awhile (I have my own baby-cenric fanfic that I've been working on for something like 2 years and still haven't finished....)...so yeah, I'll read however many you put out and no doubt love every word!

THANK GOODNESS it was Jim and not Roy at the door!  I loved that Dwight was so nice (weird but nice) to Pam, it reminded me of the inventory night so much.  This has been SUCH a great story, I can't believe it's already time for an epilogue...but I can't wait to read it!

Wow...another amazing update.  I loved that Jim was going crazy while Pam was trying to be rational and that he finally just couldn't NOT punch Roy--man did he deserve it.  I'm surprised Jim waited so long!  Then after Roy drove away I loved the funny Jim creeping back in despite the chaos that had just erupted around them...it seems like they might have a few more obstacles than just Kenny on the car before they can actually have the conversation with real answers.

 

Can't wait for more!!

He was out in full force in chapter one and then he came creeping back as soon as there was a lull in the action. And I like the way you put it--he finally just couldn't NOT punch Roy. Heh. Yeah, I don't think the writers will go this way either. They tend to shy away from the big dramatic scenes, which is why Roy's "I'm gonna kill Jim Halpert" at the end of Cocktails was so surprising. But if it did happen sort of like this, I might just die of happiness.

WOW!  That was amazing!  I love all the turmoil and all the confusion and bitterness that was rolled up into this chapter---agonizing b/c I want Jim and Pam together---but damn does it make for a GREAT story!
