what a beautiful story. i love the way you write, and the characters you portray! angela, for all her calculating, judgemental ways, really does care about planning parties (though not necessarily the people they're for) and you narrated that well. and her inner monologue about dwight: "without your [party planner] title you’re not sure what you’d have left, because your cat is dead and your boyfriend has a tiny “ex” tacked on the front and the two are related which is really what you’re having trouble with", tackles her issues really well while summing up exactly what is the most important to her. i also loved the bit about needing to feel human contact, even someone like Pam who is a hussy and confidante and friend all rolled into one. can't wait to read more of your work!

i definitely shouldn't be reading MA-rated fic at work...but i can't help it. great parallel angst/smut-fics. your smut is the prettiest smut...of all the smut.

what a gorgeously spun fic of wordless proportions. all the torment, anguish, and insecurities manifest themselves in poor, spent jim and his thoughts... you really touched on a nice sensitive note between them. would love to hear more from you :)

hahaha. "Mmmm... cheesy kiss." I can't ever imagine Jim (or JKras, for that matter) saying that, but if he did...phew. Swoon. too cute.

I was actually hoping that someone would point this out, CashBasket.  It's not something you can read in a script... Jim loves to remember the way Pam tastes.  The French Onion Soup, the Famous Grilled Cheese Sandwich.  I like to think that when they're out of the office, even for a moment, they kiss.  A lot.

Kelly does know everything! And with good reason to, she's a pretty good catalyst because at least she - compared to the rest of the Office (with few exceptions) - knows what she wants.

Author's Response: Exactly. She has her goals (cute husband, babies, babies, babies) set, so she can use that extra time to snoop around. ;)

i love the way jim's parents banter and bicker and finally come to rest with jim and pam...especially in this line they’ve seen this storm come and go and I would be wise to keep my mouth shut and listen for once.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review, CashBasket!  I struggled trying to imagine Jim's parents without interjecting a bit of my own into them.  Jim's Dad is quite a lot like my own father was...a bit crusty on the outside, with a gooey, melty inside and always ready with the advice about treating each other with kindness and sometimes having to give the whole 100% to the marriage when your spouse is going through a rough time.  I'm glad you're reading and enjoying this!

great characterization - i especially like how jim passes the torch with a simple post-it note. as for ways that JAM try to get dwight and angela together... there should be some mention of church. and cat figurines. and jazz playing babies.
