Bio:
I'm a student living in Seattle. For a while I was only reading and reviewing, (I'm pretty shy) but then I decided to go for it and begin posting - albeit very sporadically. I still feel that I've got a long way to go in terms of my writing, but as I'm busy with school I'm content to just read, review and beta for now.
That said, I love to rock climb, travel (Europe in particular), listen to old 60's music, read all of your stories here and watch The Office, How I Met Your Mother and Gilmore Girls.
Email me anytime and I'll gladly beta for you - just know that I might be a bit preoccupied from time to time with school, but I'm still interested. My email is: pamelamorganhalpert [at] yahoo [dot] com
P.S. I saw Jenna Fischer in person in May 2010 at the world premiere of her movie 'A Little Help' and I've got a insy winsy picture on my phone to prove it (sadly no autograph...). However, I can say that I've been within a foot of Jenna, as she walked right by me to take pictures for the press.

Okay, that was just perfect! I must admit, I've been getting pretty sick of these baby fics, but this was a good one for sure!
Why, might you ask? Oh let's see... because it was oh - so - realistic (sounding, I would have NO idea) and it was just so cute and totally JAM. So there you go, one out of ten baby fic stories I actually like these days, and here's one of them. Nice work!
P.S., perfect grammar, punctuation and spelling, that really makes a difference!
Author's Response: Thanks pamelamorganhalpert. While the baby figured prominently into this chapter, I'm thinking most of these won't be babyfics. And I have my great betas to thank for the grammar, etc. I'm glad you liked it.
Mild spoiler through season 5.

As much as I don't want to say I liked this, I kind of actually did. Why? Because this had such a great perspective and tone. I couldn't stand the topic, JAM forever, baby! But this actually worked the way you wrote it. One thing though, I did find a few typos, left out apostrophe's in can't, etc. Take a quick look through and edit once more, otherwise this is really good! I would give you a ten, but I just can't because of the subject. Sorry!
Author's Response: Sorry about the typos, I'll make sure to fix them right now. And I'm glad you think I made the story work although the subject makes my heartbreak too. :( Thanks so much, pamelamorganhalpert. JAM forever!!

Wow, do you know how well written this is??? You've nailed the inner thinking here, yanana! I've tried to myself, and I did a little bit in my Mistletoe story, but it's SO HARD! Anyways, this was just so well done. I know that you are just setting up the perimeters, therefore there wasn't much action (TWSS, but not very good!), but I definitely have confidence that you'll be able to continue this and make it incredible, as are the rest of your stories.
Question: Are you planning on using this story as your nest big project after your done with Babytimes? If so, I think you could potentially go AU with this story, maybe have some more of those so close to something, yet not really moments between Jim and Pam, yet have it end up leading to a relationship starting a bit earlier than actuality. Just an idea...
So, just to reiterate, great job, and please keep this one going! It's really well done and you've got a great perspective that your coming from!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Your question, yes it's going to be AU (there's no cameras, so it's changing the outcome) and it won't be too long of a story. I already have most of it written and the rest is outlined. So I know where this one is going straight away. I'm thinking five chapters, tops.
Date: February 03, 2010 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2
That was so beautiful (the sheer happiness Pam was sharing with Jim at the beginning), heartbreaking (when Roy flat-out crushes her dreams) and then oh-so touching and sentimental when Jim and Pam hug, I want a John Krasinski hug more than anything, I've decided!
Anyways, PLEASE MAKE PAM LEAVE ROY! And then have Jim drive her down to NYC on the weekends as she does the internship and she slowly puts her life together, as an independent person. THEN, and only then, when she's done with the program and confident and such she and Jim get together.
Hopefully that helps, I guess I've just written an entire outline for a story I'll never have the guts to begin writing. Oh well, maybe you can make my dreams come true...
Sorry for ranting about my fic fantasies, but that would be awesome in my humble opinion.
Anyways, great job with this chapter, very well done and I can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Whoa, I see you do have ideas, haha. Well, this one is already outlined/written, so I've kind of got my own plans for it already that I'm sticking to. But if you have ideas for your own story that you think are good, you should figure it out and post it maybe. =) Thanks for the review, as always, and hope you enjoy the rest of the story!
Date: February 05, 2010 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3
ah so good! i love that he's said, in his own way, that he's in love with her - albeit in a kind of confusing way. nicely done - who's at the door???
Author's Response: thanks for the review! next chapter is up, so you can find out who just walked in. oooh, the suspense, ha.

Wow, I'm so surprised you don't have any reviews yet! This was really good! I love all the descriptive and dialogue - they both seemed very realistic - which I'm always delighted to see done well. I also really liked that you didn't go with the more simplistic approach and I seriously didn't think Pam was with Roy until he came into the room and was her fiance again. Great job and keep going! Let's have a confession to Jim and then break up with Roy! - well in my fantasies... I can't wait to see how you continue this!
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I'm glad it all seemed realistic -- I really hoped it would :)

That was great! I think this is really good and I can't wait to see how you continue! Two typos, you spelled apologize halfway through the chapter with an 's' and then when Roy said 'can you at least help me out?' you forgot the t in at. Otherwise, this looks great and I'm looking forwards to more!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'll fix the typos -- I always manage to have a few! I'm glad you like the story so far.

Oh my goodness, FlonkertonChamp, that was hilarious! As soon as I realized this was a 'once upon a time story' I began reading aloud in a fake sing-songy and dramatic voice to myself. I got through to the ending (deliriously happy the entire time) and burst out giggling. Do you see what effect this has on me??? SO CUTE! I loved this, and I'm really surprised that people haven't thought up this brilliant idea before. I might have to submit it to the challenges... Pam and Jim in a castle or something like that...
Oh well, this was really fun, albeit short, but definitely sweet. Great job! And really awesome (blossom, extra awesome) idea!
P.S. I absolutely love David Wallace's song with his son and especially the idea that he went from NYC macho business man to ho-hum, 'Maybe I'll go outside today' as he spreads peanut butter and whipped cream on bread. So funny!

Thank you so much! I always battle with how much description is too much, but I hope I found a good balance to give the readers enough to picture it in their heads like I did as I wrote it :)

Oh my goodness! This is going to be a fun ride! (And, well, somewhat traumatic for Pam... sorry!) Keep going, this is very well written/descriptive in just the right ways and definitely entertaining. Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks, pamalamorganhalpert. I'm making an effort to keep it as real as a totally cliche cheesy story line be written. *grin*

That is so well done! Great job and I can't wait for more - keep going, I'm going to be sitting here just waiting...

Oh my god, this is so scary, yet AMAZING! I absolutely love this story and I can't wait to keep reading! I am finding Jim's panic attacks incredibly realistic (don't worry, in case you were for some reason) and this is just so good! AND SUSPENSEFUL! Keep going and I can't wait for more! I love the little sock/hat part and Dr. Bressman's character is perfect. Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Wow, thanks pamelamorganhalpert, glad you're enjoying the story. I think this situation woould test even our unflappable Jim. Appreciate the read and the review!
Date: March 01, 2010 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Birth Control
Oh my God, that was absolutely incredibly! WOWY WOWY WOW WOW WOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!
Do you understand how absolutely perfect and amazing I think this is? Think of the most beautiful, perfect thing ever, and this is it for me. (I know, I need a life, outside of school, haha) Incredible job and I can't wait for that epilogue, maybe I'll be more articulate then...
Author's Response: Gosh, pamelamorganhalpert, thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was concerned this had too much back and forth dialogue to really work, but I couldn't figure out how to eliminate much of it. Nice to know it worked for you.
Jim & Pam celebrate St. Valentines in a special way this year.

Author's Response: Aww you are so sweet! :) I'm glad you enjoyed it. I try not to let the hit count/reviews ratio get to me, but it is nice when people take the time to leave a little note. I really do appreciate you doing it, so thank you so much.

Wow, that was really good! Nice job, very realistic sounding, and I love the different circumstances and turn of events you have going here. Again, great writing!
P.S. - there's one little formatting mistake in the first chapter - you forgot to add a space after the end of one sentence and before starting the next. Once you fix that you're good to go!
Author's Response:
Thanks! This was fun to play with.
I'll fix that mistake- you should have seen what MTT did to my formatting when I pasted the text in. I'm really impressed with myself for only having one mistake left! ;)
Thanks, again!
This one is kind of stupid and contrived, yes, but still. Had to get it out of my system.

My goodness, I hate stories where Jim and Pam die - but this was actually a good one. (If that's possible, to like something you hate, you know...)
Very well written, incredibly realistic and just heartbreaking in all the right places. I felt all of Jim's sadness, anger and emotions that you were working to capture, and I'm so surprised at how well you made the reader feel what Jim was. Great job and although I didn't like the circumstances for this story (I mean, who does???) this was actually really wonderful.

Wow, I actually really liked this! (I know, that sounds mean, let me explain myself!) I typically am not the greatest fan of all inner-thinking/emotion pieces, and I typically like a little bit of plot or dialogue or interaction, but this was actually quite incredible in my humble opinion! I loved all of Pam's emotions you were able to capture, I felt like she had taken over my mind for a brief period of time and I was just thinking about how happy I was to have old Jim back, and that I was with him, not Roy and how everything would turn out fine. I know you had other messages in there, but I just like reassuring myself that we might see another prank some day, as there hasn't been a new one in quite some time now! Maybe after the baby comes...
Anyway, I just got really sidetracked. What I'm trying to say, is that you've brightened my horizons and I actually enjoyed this, on the contrary to what I typically prefer. Very well written and nice job!
P.S. Welcome back to the magical, mystical world of MTT, it's lovely to read your writing again!

That was so beautifully written. Fabulous job, yanana, as always. And the fact that she's named Cecelia? Awesome! I'm so glad they picked a name that's more interesting than Jim and Pam. But I love Marie, and as soon as I first heard Jim say that, I thought that they must have been reading the stories here at MTT, as so many seem to have Marie in them!
Anyways, I'll go to sleep now, but that was incredible, did you have that prewritten and then just add in the name? Or was this just a spur of the moment? Great job!
Author's Response: Oh, no this was written immediately post-episode. As if it's a natural fan response, haha. I don't think the lyrics to "Cecilia" by Simon and Garfunkel would have fitted with any other name, you know? ;) Thanks for the review!
