This was so good! I love angry, angsty Pam! I also love that Jim was the one to show up while her and Roy were fighting, because who else would? Loveddd it! I'd also love a second chapter with hopefully a brighter ending but nothing wrong with leaving us with just some angst every now and then.

Author's Response: Thank you, Aly! I'm glad you like this story and I hope you'll enjoy the second part when it'll be ready :)

This was amazinggggggg. I felt so bad for Jim, I'm positive this is exactly how he felt that night. And then Pam showing up to save him before he moved or anything? Loved it. "I can." My heart soars with the eagle's nest.

Author's Response: Haha I love that last quote. Thank you so much for reading!

Okay, wow, I came into this story expecting to laugh but I did NOT expect to cry. The Sandals, Scranton, and Grand Canyon ones especially killed me. "We had fun, though, right?" I think my heart exploded. I'm gonna need to take a moment to just appreciate how well you wrote these. Beautiful.

Author's Response: We had fun though! Ugh I was like "can I handle it if I make this the end of his last postcard?" It got me, too! Thank you so much, aly!

I'M TERRIFIED. But also so so excited for the next chapter. Ugh this is going to absolutely destroy me, I know it.

Just kidding, don't worry :D

Okay, I absolutely despise Amaia. Who in their right mind wears heels to the airport? And then she books Jim and her in first class without Pam and the kids? Can't stand her. And I'm suspicious about this Blake guy now, too, though I'd hope nothing happens with the kids right there. I'm so concerned about this story but I also want the next chapter up asap, please.

"You can skip this story, it's just season 3, nothing special." Remind me to never listen to you ever again, ever. My heart broke so many times during this story. How COLD he was to her right before he left? I wanted to punch him in the face. I'm ignoring the utter heartbreak he just went through. That was rough. Ugh. And then Phyllis's wedding from Jim's perspective really just killed me. Him kissing Karen after seeing Pam walk out with Roy. Definitely a Wishy-Washy Jim move. I loved it. And then this last chapter. You really gave TPB a run for her money with the fluff here, but I loved every word. "You are home for me, Pam." I'm really not okay. "Welcome home, Halpert." Can you make this into an audiobook so I can listen to it repeatedly? Thanks.

Hi, me again. Back to tell you how wonderful you are. How wonderful this story is. How wonderful this chapter was. All of it. I have to say, though, that the peanut butter jar was my fave. The fact that she would go to Jim's to have him open jars for her, and then doing that causes her to run into Karen and eventually lead to the fight in the stairwell (which you *know* I love me a good fight in the stairwell), and then her seeing it on the counter and being upset because of the fight, and then after kissing, saying "I'm going to need you to open that jar of peanut butter on the counter." Kill me. Love love love love love. I'm gonna need a sequel to this one, too, thanks.

Summary: When a family emergency sends Jim across state lines, Pam somehow finds herself right alongside him.

Loved this so much. Larissa was amazing, I loved her sense of humor and how caring she was to both Jim and Pam, even with her jokes thrown in. And then her eavesdropping on him about Karen only for him to eavesdrop on her, I know you know this already, but when he said "He does" my jaw DROPPED. I think my heart stopped beating. Also, “Yup,” she breathed as he brushed his hand under her blouse along the small of the back." hi yes this killed me. expect a bill for my funeral shortly.

That’s okay, I wanted to cry tonight anyway.

This was adorably cute. Tpb will be proud. The way you described Jim finally leaving Scranton because Pam is with him was just perfect. And then how they are going back because the kiddos are all grown up. Ouch. I love it. Linking their pinkies and Jim kissing Pam’s hand is going straight into this year’s favorite moments dundies.

Author's Response: If I can write fluff that makes TPB proud, that will... literally be the greatest honor I have ever received.

Yeah, sunrise, sunset. And I'm sure it felt just that fast for Jim and Pam, too.

All these years later, Jim still loves Pam. Duh.

I'm finally trying to catch up on all the updates and I had to read yours first. Your Jim and Pam are so cute! I love how instantly connected they felt and how both were scared that they were falling too fast but that didn't matter because they were falling together. Adorable. Can't wait for the next update!

holy CRAP, TPB. I was not expecting this, but did I ever love it. These past few chapters were adorable and then this one was just WOW. I adore how absolutely in love they are with each other. It's so cute and so perfect. Them at the park is one of my favorite moments, I love when they get those small moments to themselves to just love each other. Beautiful job, TPB.

Can you hear my applause all the way over in CA? This chapter is SO good. Even just the simple act of traveling is so sweet and endearing with the way you write it. I also love that Jim's family loved Pam so much and supported her education/career choices! I'm also kind of glad Jim's brothers werent there, because we all know how they are lol. But this was a great chapter, with some great steam at the end of it!

Author's Response: Thank you, sweet girl! I wish we could have gotten to see the rest of Jim's family more in the show. It's a shame they focused an episode on his horrible brothers. I am so happy you liked it, and thank you for your equally kind review of chapter 11!

UGH YES. I know I already knew some of this chapter, but reading it all together is even better than the little bit you shared. I love Jim's underwater park ranger idea. That is hilarious, but totally something I could see little Jim wanting to do! And then when they were sitting together and all cuddled up, all I could imagine was the scene in Money, which I LOVE, so this was great. And then can we talk about the fight? You know I love me some angst. The fight was super realistic. You could tell Pam was upset but self conscious, which is totally in character for her. And their make up was adorable. Pam's "I think we're supposed to have make up sex right now" made me laugh hahahaha. This was a great chapter, I can't wait for the next one!!

Author's Response: Thank you for your help with it! I know it's still not very angsty, but the story needed a little something that wasn't straight fluff. Haha. ;)

TPB. omg. This chapter was beautiful. I loveddd the double date so much. Dwight was perfect, from chopsticks being first-world kindling to saying Jim can't invest in his farm because they're friends - all of it was just perfect. And then when they get back to the room? Hotttt. Ugh it was so good. I needed this after rereading HMOH today. I also love how super proud Pam is of Jim, even though you can clearly see how much she is missing him. I can't wait for season to be over too so they get to spend more time together! Wonderful chapter, I adored every second of it.

UGH KAREN. She just needs to mind her own business. Obviously Pam isn't going to be able to go to every game, she doesn't go to that school, she has her own classes and work to do, and shes a broke college student. Im mad for Pam lol. ugh but THEN Jim gets home and his hug and "I miss you" just kills me. It melts my heart, I love it too much. And then Pam being just SO happy that he's home. Murder me. THEN Jim sticking up for Pam and being so understanding? I'm dead. "Proves to me once more that he's home to stay" I'm framing this.

Okay, this chapter was just adorable. Funny as well, but mostly adorable. I'd never go into the ocean at 70 degrees, but going to the beach during spring break when you live that close to one seems like a no brainer and I'm so glad that Pam wanted to go. I loved Jim massaging the sunscreen onto Pam and Dwight's comments about zinc oxide hahahahah. And then the chicken fight was great, I loved Mark and Jim's comments during it lol. Also, Mark and Erin... I can see it. I'm downnnn for that. I can't wait for the next chapter!!

This was amazing and adorable from the very start. "Hey birthday girl" I don't know why but that just melted my heart. And then the hotness that followed was just perfection. I also loved their picnic and Pam complaining about homework. It's easy to forget theyre still in college when you get caught up in the adorableness that they are, but this was a great way to remind us all. Very realistic, I loved it. And then I also loved Jim's gift to her. "That's our ship name: JAM" and then the pictures of them at the beach. Ugh. Where is my college Jim?? And then I loved how hard Jim tried to keep the party a surprise, but he kept accidentally letting on that something was happening. And the fact that he threw a perfect party, one that she wasn't sure she could plan better for herself... ugh. Amazing. I loved this chapter, TPB!

I'm just on a roller coaster of emotions right now. Ugh. Her standing in the doorway, fidgeting and nervous but also starting to build up her courage already, I loved it. And then when she kissed him, UGH. But then she was saying "I can't" and if you didn't have her add on the "yet" then we wouldn't have been friends anymore. Mostly because I would have been six feet under. AND THEN HE PULLED ON HER SCARF AND KISSED HER FOREHEAD LIKE HOW HE HAD IMAGINED. Kill me. Amazing, showstopping, wonderful, 5 stars.

Hi, I'm crying. The beginning of this was so heart wrenching. I could feel then tension between them. How Jim just saw it as helping his family, but Pam saw it as him leaving his family. How he kept assuming things, which put them in this predicament in the first place. All heartbreaking. And then having Michael be the solution to it all was genius. Michael really did have a big hand in getting them together, even if they never really figured that out. I loved it. And then him coming back early at the end? I had to actually take a moment before I finished reading. Of course the steamy moments were perfection as well. You can feel everything Pam is feeling, how much she has missed Jim and how she's so happy to be this close with him, even though she knows the road ahead is going to be tough. Ugh. Bravo.

I was so late to this story, and now I cannot believe it's almost over. Every chapter has been a true delight to read. English Jim is now and forever will be one of my favorite types of Jim. The way they loved each other so fiercely is amazing and you described it beautifully. The proposal was spot on. You know Jim wouldn't be able to go without a small joke somewhere in there. The fake promposal was genius, though I am a little sad that we won't get to see them go to prom together. I guess spending the rest of their lives together is more important though. Maybe. (;
But really, this story is fantastic and I can't wait for the last chapter. But also take your time so I can relish in English Jim a little longer.

This was SO GOOD. I don't even know where to begin. Pam's feelings are so, totally validated. I know she would be scared to tell Jim because of how Roy acted in the past, even though she knows they're nothing alike. And Jim picturing their future together with a little baby was perfect. And then the ending, how they were both a little sad to not actually be pregnant? I teared up a little. You can tell how much they truly love each other and how they are so ready to start a future together, even if this wasn't the right timing for this specific step of their future. And then that last line? I hope you have the funeral home on speed dial because my heart is about to explode. SO GOOD, WW.
