I am willing to beta. I can't promise a lot of grammar comments, but I can tell you what I like, don't like, and if something doesn't sound right to me. Feel free to contact me. I don't bite and fanfic is my life.

I was just about to shut off my computer, when I suddenly had a hankerin' for some fic. And your fic, specifically. I swear, it was like "must read xo's fic" Thought you would like to know that.

I think Jim needs to teach me some laundry skills. I did laundry at camp, and it was these little tablets, and it did it all. Now I have to actually measure stuff. I still don't believe in separating clothes or any of that fancy stuff.

When I was at college, I always got lucky with laundry. I did it at odd times (weekday mornings), so I never had anyone touch my clothes or anything weird. Usually I had the whole place to myself (really, considering there were like 1,000 people and 6 washers, it was a rare feat). Scary laundry guys are not cool.

Protective Jim. Both of Pam and Pam's girly things.

Summary:

I know that we’re solid and happy and it’s just the situation that makes things difficult once in a while. But sometimes you just need something tangible.

Pam takes a drive, set post-Baby Shower, so spoilers through that.

My phone doesn't like letting me know I have a message either. Except, Jim Halpert never leaves me a message. He's so rude.

I always feel weird about not knocking on doors. I mean, plenty of my neighbors have told me just to come in (usually they are expecting me, but they probably wouldn't care either way), but I have this compulsive need to knock.

I love how she feels home. Just, she's in Jim's apartment, but she's home. That makes me happier than it should!

Okay, so this is weird and random. But the fact he has a towel on when he thinks he is alone. Because yesterday, one of my friends (who recently moved into their own place) had their facebook status as something like how excited he was that he could be naked all he wanted. And so, that in itself was disturbing and made me laugh. But of course that's what I thought of, that Jim apparently doesn't walk around naked.

She wants to take bits of him away with her. How sweet is that?

Happy. :D

Author's Response:

:)  EH, your reviews always make me smile.

Now, I don't mind Jim Halpert without a towel, either - I'm happy either way.  Seriously though - thanks for reading and reviewing!

Yay for non drug induced story reads and reviews. Although, I gotta admit, it could be funny...

Sorry Jim, but, I rather like doing puzzles. Not the mountains, water, and flowers combo you describe. A nice town setting, with lots of buildings and such. Those are my type of puzzles. Or the huge collage ones. I also enjoy those. Of course, he's more using it as an analogy, but I just felt the desire to tell you about my like of puzzles.

And that was the last random comment. Serious Azlin... you wrote this? And I don't mean it in a weird way except for the fact how did you get to be so damn awesome? I've always known you were awesome, but this catapaults you into a different level of awesomeness. The messed up with my heart strings and makes me want to cry and you captured everything so amazingly beautifully it hurts and something like that awesomeness. Which I lost my train of thought somewhere around there, but it still stands.

I can't even say what my favorite line or piece was. It just, you really felt it all, and it all felt so realistic, and it hurts and... gah.

Amazing, simply amazing.

PS: I'm glad I read this without drugs. I don't think I would have gotten it with drugs.

Author's Response:

Oh, I'm not opposed to drug-induced reviews at some point, I'm just not sure this would've been the best story to use as a guinea pig.

Well, Jim likes doing the same kinds of puzzles that my mom likes best. My mom is a total sorter when it comes to puzzles and it drives me nuts. My idea of sorting is here are edges and here are non-edges, now let's turn them all right side up and look at the box the entire time to figure out where all the pieces go. Of course, my mom's method is so much faster in the end, but the initial sorting process is just so... tedious.

I wrote it! (Did Jim say I didn't write it? I. wrote. it!) It's really quite astounding though, isn't it? Maybe my creative writing class is paying off. I knew there was a reason to stay in college one more semester.

Since you couldn't think of a favorite line I'll quote mine: "Everything is the kind of thing he would do with her if only he could see her again." I just like how it worked in context. And for some reason it's like stuck in my head today. So I'm not sure if it's my actual favorite, but it was one I knew off the top of my head.

PS: Remind me to tell you about how I came to school today and only talked to boys all day. Not exactly on purpose it just sort of worked out that way.

You mention CPR. I giggle. (I teach CPR). So, that already has some awesomeness to it.

Wow. For a first fic, this was great. Well, even if it wasn't a first fic, it would be great. It just ups its greatness because it is a frist fic. I can't imagine how horrible it was for Jim to be hearing that, and in my head, I totally think that Pam would have come back to Scranton. They would have had to connect after hearing that. One way or the other.

Great job!

(Plus, I hope no nuns, puppies, or small children were harmed in the writing of this story)

Author's Response: Well, there was that Belgian nun, but she tried to run me over so she deserved it (hand to God, a Belgian nun almost ran me down last year - but no harm came to her other than a dirty look). \r\nThanks, Emily (I assume it\'s actually Emily)! I hope Pam does something bold to assure Jim she chooses him. And I hope Jim makes it clear that he wants to share Pam\'s dreams with her. I don\'t like this \"art or Jim\" dichotomy they seem to be hinting at. I don\'t think Pam is ready for full-time NYC yet. Maybe in a few years (like when The Office is scheduled to end). I could take a series finale where Mr. and Mrs. Halpert and baby Jam moved to New York (or Philly). Spin-off, baby....\r\nBut for now, let\'s let them stay put.

Very perfect timing, btw. I had just typed to a friend I wanted to read what happened after Alex the jerk stopped by, and so this was great timing. But even if its been done a thousand times, I still like reading it. And you captured it perfectly. What Jim's reaction would be, what Pam's reaction would be, mentioned them getting away from the cameras. And even still, keeping them joking and at least happy andstill talking about what it is.

So great job :)

Author's Response: Hi EmilyHalpert! Now I don\'t really see Alex as a jerk (necessarily), just misguided, and I disagreed completely with his argument (was that too obvious? :) haha). Thanks for reviewing, I wasn\'t sure about even putting this one up.

Aww, this is just cute. that Jim fell in love with her with her sweater. And she kind of liked him even when he just stared. And then they talked.

Sweaters are sort of a requirement for me considering that there are at least 6 inches of snow on the ground outside my window right now. And it hasn't snowed since last week. So that's just the stuff that's left over from the previous storm. :(

Okay, seriously freaky. Because I had somewhat of the same idea, at least, with them watching that video. The overall idea/point of the story was totally different. But just the fact that you chose the same song/youtube clip as me (or I as you, whatever), just kind of rocks.
Yes I know I'm completely weird.

But I like the idea of Pam in PJ's and old tshirts, but I like the idea more when she's with Jim and maybe its one of Jim's old Tshirts. Ah, total girl crush right there.

"A stretch of almost-silence while coffee is poured and cereal is slurped."
So I swear I read this as that the coffee was being bored over the cereal and I wanted to know what kind of freaks Jim and Pam were.

They're watching Spongebob! I never got it. Then the kids I work with watched it. And I was subjected to it. Then I started liking it, or at least, not minding when it was on. Then I started making the kids watch it. (in my defense, it is so much better than some of the other crap they wanted me to watch!)
Hey, it still works to make them know I'm one of the good guys. I can talk about Spongebob and Patrick to no end.
Except when i start talking about episode plots, then I scare myself.

I'm obsessed with Jim and Pam babies. They need to get on that. Stat. Stat means now.
