Oh thank you thank you for a truly beautiful, spectacular Jim/CFO. (How perfect is Jim thinking of him as those initials, and realizing it, and trying to think of him as David, and then falling back to CFO after their kiss? Wow, your Jim characterization couldn't be any better. And it was such an excellent choice to have David know things that Jim hasn't learned yet, about life, and have David give him advice based on that.)

Oh so hot. Deliciously so. I love the image of Jim in a sombrero, greeting Pam when she enters the kitchen as "senorita" and saying "graciass" in response to her teasing him-- it's just the way they'd be together.
I think this also really works because Pam is a sex goddess! But really -- I think since she found Jim's stash and got an idea that he might be into this, she wasn't really surprised by his roving... uhhhh... bits and it was perfectly in character that she wouldn't just bring it up to him as something to try, she'd just be passive -- exactly as you had her!
Anyway, all this to say -- not only is this really really REALLY hot, but it's very much in character and I'm really looking forward to the next part! Please put me out of my misery soon.

10 Wow. I'm totally impressed. I really love that you treated Kelly with a ton of respect and didn't make her a total ditz. This was very well balanced between the funny silly Kelly and the sharper-than-you-think Kelly that we sometimes catch a glimpse of. You hit that nail on the head with the line about how Kelly can't get her own love life in order. I love the Toby section particularly (not just because I'm a not-so-closet Toby/Kelly shipper, but because it's awesome and you really captured Toby's sadness as well as Kelly's empathy).
And I was just thinking earlier today that there is not enough Kelly fic out there, and POOF! This magically appears. Great job! I really, really enjoyed it. Thank you!
Jim and Pam on familiar ground. Spoilers (perhaps) up to mid-Season 4.And it’s true, it isn’t like a year ago, when an easy escape was always waiting for him. He is working without a net here, and there is a heady freedom in thinking how simple and terrifying it would be to take her other hand, hold her gaze, and say, I think I could make you happy. Please let me try.
I really liked this installment, because it was such a plausible moment that fits with where Jim was mentally in his relationship with Pam at that episode, which is hard to capture particularly with S3 Jim. I cited your words above because I think that in addition to the longing and angst that Jim embodies, you really captured the love he has for Pam and what it's all about. A lot of fics make stabs at the angst and longing but yours always capture the love, too. Which is really really hard to do, and rare, and very much appreciated by your readers, particularly me. Anyway, all this to say, well done. I loved how and when you set this, and I loved your characterization; it is incredibly realistic and true to the show.
