Jim leaves David Wallace's cocktail party early. Pam makes a call in the Poor Richard's parking lot after breaking up with Roy.  

The night is cold, but hands are warm.

Set during Cocktails.  

“There’s always a million reasons not to do something, Pam. And maybe I’m biased here… but I think Jim is a pretty good reason to take a chance on this.”

Jim and Pam run into each other at a Christmas party, and Pam starts to see Jim more clearly. 

Set the Christmas before the documentary crew shows up. Fic is for 2021 secret santa! 

Karen thinks that a small party - her apartment is NOT huge - of a select few coworkers, to celebrate her recent move to her very cool new apartment, is a fantastic and totally non-problematic idea. Jim wants her to get to know them. No?

Jim is... unconvinced. He suspects that there are agendas at play here.

But, as she says, it's only one night. What could possibly go wrong?
