Pam turns 30 determined to make this year better than the chaos of 29, which brought the end of her eight-year marriage to Roy. Married young and believing they were building a shared future, she was blindsided when Roy took a job out of state, ignored her pleas to come home, and revealed he never planned to return. Though heartbroken, Pam realizes she had always felt like something was missing.
