OH perfect perfect. This was beautiful, and felt so true. Loved the feeling that Jim is trying to push himself through this, but that maybe it's slowly starting to work. Loved the visual of them sitting the parking lot alone. The world needs more good Jim/Karen fic.

Oy. He's just digging himself in deeper, isn't he? Yikes. But I could see him do that to make himself feel better about the whole situation. I feel for Karen because she is getting cheated out of a guy loving her fully, and she doesn't really even know it because he keeps professing he can be there for her.
