Oooh... wonder what Pam's mom is up to. How sweet of Jim to get Pam that dress from him and Scarlet. And thanks for your replies to me! I do enjoy this story. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Author's Response:
I can't wait to see what happens next....hehe.
No need to thank me! People like you are the reason that I keep writing and enjoying it so much. So, THANK YOU for reading, commenting, reviewing...and loving this story too. You're great. Thanks again.

Author's Response: Ha. You'll have to wait and see....thanks for reading!

Hundred hour nap! That's not a nap, that's a coma!
Oh, vintage Dane. How I miss thee.
Author's Response:
haha. I love the Retataliation set. He's great.

I can't believe I missed the Dane Cook line! The coma! C'mon! I'm so silly! I love DC! And he said the very true words now that have forever been used in reference to the office character
"For example, Karen, is always a bag of douche"
Ha! Anyways: on topic: love it, love you, you rock, good night. I'll be e-mailing you later today. :)
Author's Response:
Thanks for commenting! Yes, I stole DC's lines...but come on! It's hilarious! I love the Retaliation CD. It's great...and yes, I caught that CD uses the name Karen in explaining 'the one friend everybody hates'....
My other favorite DC bit: The naming of his children...'BBBBDDDD...I told you no cookies! Daddy's on the phone BDDDD, Daddy's on the phone..." lol!!!
Love it!

Oh Becka, you will ruin me. Trust me, you WILL be getting a call from my boss complaining that I arrived late, still in my pajamas and demanded she feed me. Because, um, that is what is going to happen when I read this chapter instead of getting ready. Oh well. As long as you don't mind...
Oh, and just FYI - no idea on the Dane Cook line because I had no idea who he was, and I had to look him up when I heard him referenced in The Office. That is just how much of a lamo-loser I am!
HAHA! Wow, laughed so hard at the "if you weren't pregnant before you are after last night" Yowza!
Reason number 40485305: This didn't suddenly turn into smut city and have Pam hop in shower with Jim and go at it once again. This is what the discussions at TWoP have done to me.
Its such a nice change in a way that Pam is talking to Jim about giving up on chances, its like the reverse of Boys and Girls.
Jim got her the dress. He really is perfect isn't he. I don't think he has anything wrong with him. Dammit, I really need to figure out how to clone him.
Oooh, I can't wait to figure out what Mommy Beesly has planned....
Author's Response:
Ha. GLad to hear that I can cause people to totally forget about whats really important in their lives. :)
Dane Cook is amazing and hilarious....
Thanks for reviewing...more on the way as soon as it gets written. So...maybe the weekend??? I dont know.

I took like a hundred hour nap? thats not a nap that's a fucking coma, just say you took a coma after work...
haha loving it as always
Author's Response:
Hahaha..I love Dane Cook. Great stuff, huh?
Thanks again for always reviewing. You're great. I appreciate you sticking with the story!!! I hope to have more up soon....

I'm a very bad Dane Cook fan that I can't pick it out, but I am trying to be a good reviewer. I'm still loving this story. I loved the line, "Oh, I'm not worrying. If you weren't pregnant before, you are after last night." Honestly, that was great. I kinda hope Jim takes the job. It seems like something that should be happening for them, but I also know you won't make it easy on those two. Keep it up...I like updates!
Author's Response:
The Dane Cook line is the one about the nap/coma. It's basically DC's take on exxagerations....
And the line that you love so much was all (just sayin.) I don't always steal my material...heheh. Glad you liked it...I liked it too..:)
Keep reading and reviewing.

Aww, what a cute chapter with Scarlet and all. I'm glad Jim and Pam know what's been bothering the other person lately and that Jim's really excited about becoming a father. And another chapter so soon! Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and commenting. I really hope to get more of this story out soon. So, please keep looking out for updates. Thanks for always willing to express your thoughts on the chapter. It makes me happy to see a 'regular'...:) Thanks again!

oh, and I was going to also say - scarlets bad dream, as scary as it is is NOTHING like the nightmares that used to plauge me. seriously, i would have recurring (for years), nightmares of people killing me, my family, chasing me in an attempt to kill me.
but then i also dreamed of kids i babysat for turning into those little monkeys and us preforming on the streets.

John Mayer IS good. Not that I have heard that song. But, still.
So, it is interesting you bring up a three year old and death. Because, this summer, I am watching a 3 year old. And so, she of coursed asked about my family. When I explained my dad died, she doesn't understand it. She just thinks he isn't around. She knows he is dead, its like, "he doesn't have a seat at the table because hes dead, right?" but she doesn't understand what death really is. I think she may get it a little bit, becuse she had a dog that died. But, I still don't think it is all really connected in her head.
So thats why you needed to know how to phrase two things at the same time. Not quite the mustard/stinky combo I was expecting.
Haha, I loved Jims reaction and Scarlets bad dream, and I am laughing smiling.
Great chapter
Author's Response:
I'm sorry to hear about your father. It's a tough thing to deal with. And, the story about the Scarlet asking her parents about death is a real story that a little girl I know asked her parents...and that was her answer. WALMART! She's too cute for words....And, the dino dream...that's from my childhood. I had a hard time getting rid of that dream...I still remember it.
Love John Mayer! I do...I really do.
Thanks for your thoughts. I hope you enjoyed it!

My love for this story is insane. I'm really enjoying this relationship between Jim and Pam; it's different than most of the Jim/Pam relationships we see, married or otherwise. I like that they don't have a perfect marriage, but are working through the problems...and that they're having a baby! Update soon!
Author's Response: You'll have another chapter soon. Thanks for reading and giving the nice compliments! I don't think any marriage is going to be perfect so that's the way that I see them. They are trying....they want it to be perfect and effortless, but it's just not going to be that way. Especially with the problems they face everyday. So, thanks for being so kind and reading.

Hahaha! Oh god, poor Jim. This happened to me once. Oddly enough tomato juice did help...but then I smelled like tomatoes.
Author's Response: Im so sorry I had to drudge up bad memories for you! What a terrible thing to happen. I'm so glad that you read and commented! Thanks! I appreciate it!

Superbeta here reporting breaking news: I heart this. Wal-mart? Baby on board (those signs are so silly btw) and the end with Scarlet? Dawesome. And Dinosaurs arevery scary!! True story.
Do you think maybe there's something about the name John that makes us love them so much? JKras, John Mayer? It's a theory i'm willing to test out ;)
So glad to be of help and can't wait to see more (than I already have - which is amazing btw)
Author's Response:
Thanks for coming and reviewing. You're great.
The dinosaur dream is one I've had as a little girl. It was very scary and I still remember it clearly. I was running and running in the dark and a t-rex kept chasing me. It was scary....still is. It's VERY real.
I'm willing to test out your theory too! :)
I'll be sending you the next chapter soon. So, get ready.
Date: June 26, 2007 04:42 pm Title: Separate Ways
Well... not sure what to think of all that. Obviously Jim is feeling left out and Pam just wants to make sure all is well before saying anything. Kind of a sticky situation there. I kind of feel bad for both of them. But hopefully they will work something out and maybe there will definitely be good news too? I'm so glad you put up another chapter. Thank you!
Author's Response: Thanks for commenting! I'm not really sure what to think of it either. There will be another chapter up soon to help smooth this icky chapter over. Keep reading and commenting. I love it! Thanks!
Date: June 25, 2007 07:01 pm Title: Separate Ways
I love this story, but honestly that last bit with Jim seemed really OOC...but what do I know? We all have our moments right? Jim can't always be perfect.
can't wait for more!
Author's Response: I agree with you actually. My only excuse for Jim's behavior change is because first off, he's an hour and a half away from his family, tired, has a potential problem and thinks Pam is keeping something from him. I would act a little weird too if that was the case. So, I think it was very perceptive of you to notice that he has kinda switched moods here. I appreciate the review and hope to see you tune in for the next chapter where it gets resolved.
Date: June 25, 2007 04:22 pm Title: Separate Ways
I really love this story, and I almost forgot about it since its been so long. I knew like right away that she was pregnant, I was just waiting for you to confirm it. Great story, can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response: I kinda like this story too. Ha. Thanks again for your thoughts and your comment. I hope to keep adding to this story in the next week or so. I'm pumped about the future for this family and let's just hope getting past this little bump in the road will be over with soon. Keep up the reading!
Date: June 25, 2007 04:08 pm Title: Separate Ways
Ooh, this story is getting really compelling again! I am excited for the next bit!
Author's Response: Thanks! I hope it starts getting back into the swing of things. I really want to finish this story in a good way. I have ideas and alot of great helpers to thank for getting me back to writing on it. Thanks for the comment and keep reading! There's more on the way shortly.

So, I have three fics open to read, and then I get GMail telling me this was updated, and it was a giant burst of energy. And so also yeah, I am reading it. And so when I don't get anything done tonight - it is ALL your fault. And hopefully I will reply to emails soon. I really should at least change my sheets though. At least act like I am productive.
I can agree with that last miles taking forever. I travel 3+ hours to get home from college, and every time, I think I am making good time and I will be home lickety split, but it takes forever as always. And its like, once I get on the main interstate the last one, it is like, what, I always think there are less miles to go than there are.
"a dainty, sweet, and gorgeous young woman" How I wish I was those things. Well, I can believe I am sweet. And, I am a young woman... but oh well. My fic self can be!
Every time I see my name I just grin and smile and giggle. It is making reading this take so much longer, but so much more enjoyable.
You used the phrase toe-headed. I totally learned that phrase from Full House!!!
And Dave looks like Jim, in all the best ways!!! Wow, I think my dog thinks I am on crack or something with all the happy noises coming from me!
I am totally in love with Dave, and Pam (might be) pregnant! How great is this chapter!!!
So, Jim totally sounds like my friend Katie who I got in an argument with yesterday, nearly the exact same thing. Except, it wasn't I am pregnant and that sort of stress, it was real life stress, and she totally sounded like Jim. it was like, "whoa, reading an im conversation here." And she just signed off and said goodnight like that. So, um, are you really either Katie or are you spying on my IM logs? Because, seriously, whoa.
Write more or else I will hunt you down and tie you to your computer. And trust me, I will.
Author's Response:
Glad that you were pumped about it. I'm happy that you like Jessica and are overflowing with joy. I'm hoping that these next few chapters really help push the story forward. Thanks again for the help. Oh, and I hope you like Dave. I think I might add a little bit in an upcoming chapter about how they met....(so, be prepared for a cute little moment there.)
Anywho, thanks again for the review. YOu're great and I hope channelling Kelly Kapoor is okay. It was just something that flowed out of me. And, well, your bubbly personality helped too. :)

yay for Scarlet singing!
Hmm.. so I tried e-mailing you like 3 times with my beta of ch 31 for SL and it keeps saying it's "delayed" :( is something wrong with your e-mail or mine? Sad day! I was all excited to get it back to you!
Anyhoo, I reread this whole story this past week in preparation of betaing for it. Does that make me a huge dork? Yes, but I'm ok with that :)
Author's Response:
Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's so good to see that you're dedicated! Yeah!
Try sending it again. I've been having trouble getting emails to you too. So, is there another emial address that I can reach you at? Here is another emial you can try at: beckless1888@aol.com. Anywho, thanks for contacting me. Talk to you soon.

Sorry I haven't reviewed in a while.....but I still love this story. I will be really sorry to see it end. I love where you have taken this story, and it is my favorite. You've done a really good job with this and I know you will come up with a a good ending for it!! Oh and this chapter was really cute,I love how sweet Jim is to Pam even though she is acting crazy.
Author's Response: Wow. Thanks for the awesome compliments. I'm in the middle of writing "More Than Ready" and will pick up this story after that is complete. So, more chapters on the way once I get inspired again. Thanks!

I had to think long and hard about whether to read this or your post Job fic first. But, I chose this one. Because, um. I did. So there!!!
And I know I have said this a million times - Scarlet is just so cute!!!
This is just a normal, off day. Every family has days like that. *sigh* real life isn't always perfect (drat it) or even eventful.
Now get writing. :). Or ya know, have a real life. Whichever.
Author's Response: Thanks again for the review Jess. Every chapter isnt complete until you review. Thanks for all your support!
Date: May 20, 2007 05:48 pm Title: One of those Days.
Ah, another update! I thought it was good to see some tension between Jim and Pam because that's normal in relationships. I'm curious about Pam and what she found out earlier in the day... If it was good news, you'd think she'd tell Jim. Can't wait to see what you have in store for them next!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate all the support from you. Trust me, I notice when you've reviewed. Thanks a million. Keep on reading.

So, i just read the entire this this afternoon! :) It's really very very sweet and I could completely see this playing out like that. I was so sad when Lindie died!! And not just for Scarlet. Anyway. You've created an awesome OC in Scarlet, and I love the interaction you've done here.
Keep up the awesome work.
Author's Response: Thank you for reading and giving this story a chance. It's not often that I hear from people that just started reading this story and read it all in one afternoon. Thank you so much for letting me know that you enjoyed it. Keep looking out for more of this story. There will be more to come soon!

so tired. so this review will be odd (even for me). and since i am not going to reply to the email yet (ooh maybe this weekend if i can ya know, live)... i so friggin love that EW picture with John. its just so amazing in everything. but right now, honestly, i am like laying on my desk exhausted from teaching... so tired. and i have apples on my bed so i cna't lay down...
okay, i moved the apples. because there was just no way. i think i am going to sleep right after i read this (and yet, as tired as i am, i can't wait to read this. i couldn't even wait. its like, exhuasted, barely make it through the door, collapse in front of computer, check mtt... its so sad how addicted i am. and then even when i bookmark to read other fics, nope, this has to be read now.
now that i am horizonatal on a comfortable bed, i am more awake and typative. but my mind is still crashlined though, so don't expect much ... um.... normal thoughts. sane thoughts. (as if, sane thoughts from ME?)
i always go walking whenever i need to work things out in my head... i can walk and walk forever. well, until i run out of places to walk (aka, it has to be along non busy areas, because i don't like a thousand peoples and cars, and it can't be hills). although i can't do running. i kinda look stupid running.
Also showers. showers are good thinking times. i use em to review my day since i take them at night. and then they are awesome when you have a horrible day.
Haha. Violence. the best way to start making kids. Wait, I don't mean that in a weird way. I mean funny way. oh what has my fingers gotten me into now.
make up sex is the best (so i have heard at least)
haha. those two are just awesome and cute and wonderful together.
my goal is to try to maybe stay awake another hour and do work. or sleep until tomorrow morning. i know which one i want to do.
Author's Response:
Wow. Jessica...
That was an interesting review comment. Nice. But seriously....get some sleep and then come back and read your comment to me. You are insane! Thanks again for reading, reviewing, sleep typing, and all that you do to keep me writing. I hope you enjoyed this chapter....now, I just need to start writing more chapters...which for some reason seems really hard at the moment. Gah, I need a life. Hahaha. Talk to you soon.

Aww, I like that Jim and Pam made up. Their foreplay in the bathroom was cute. That's a great start to having a baby. LOL
This is such a cute and well-written story that I like to review and tell you that. Thanks for your sweet reply to my last review!
Author's Response:
Thanks for reading. You're the first person to leave me a comment since I've posted this chapter...so, yes...I do notice when you've read and cared enough to comment. Thanks again. I hope to have another chapter up soon and hopefully we can have more wonderful foreplay! YEAH! Thanks!
