One of my pet peeve’s in jamfic is how every woman Pam encounters seems to be taller and prettier than her with bright blue eyes and long blonde hair. From the random woman wandering into the office looking for Jim to the waitress on their first date…
But here we have Lily, a curvy redhead about Pams height. And Stacy, a sweet brunette a little on the chubby side with a wicked sense of humor.
Very realistic and VERY refreshing.

Oooh, Mox, I knew Pam was pregnant. Soo cute, I am loving this. Someday we need to see a fic through the whole nine months, with overprotective Jim and Pam rolling her eyes at how sweet he is and yes, even a Baby Halpert! How cute is that?

Good. Admitting it is the first step! Actually that was my first attempt at a baby!fic - and it's just a lead-in one at that. But honestly, the idea of Jim as a soon-to-be dad is almost too delicious not to try sometime. Can you say "Overprotective"??
Maybe it should be set after Michael becomes a father with Jan. Because you know the fatherly advice would come 24/7 without a single prompt!!!

Author's Response: Thanks, Semby - I think it's pretty hard to write a story that ends in a pregnancy announcement without including some pretty obvious clues, but it's fun anyway - I'm glad you liked it! I've been tossing around a Jam pregnancy story for a while that would cover all 9 months - maybe I'll get started on that soon :-)

Baby Jam! Great job, as usual. Thinking about a pregnant Pam (with Jim's baby, of course) always tickles me. Probably because he would be the sweetest baby's daddy ever. I loved this.

Boy did I love the happy ending! First I was afraid Pam would have an accident on her way there, then I was afraid that Pam's headaches were due to some horrible disease, kind of like Love Story. And I was afraid the photo album contained pics of Jim with a college GF. I think the show has hardened me to only expect bad things - thank heavens for sweet stories like this to remind me that sometimes good things do happen to good people!
