Thank you so much for this. I swear, this is the best piece of fan fiction I have read so far, and I've read quite a lot in the past month or so. I stayed up until 4am reading this.
It was just so... in character, so well-written and it made me tear up on occasional moments and go "awww" at least 2 million times, lol. That's what it's supposed to be like ;) JAM love everywhere. he he
I'll definitely read more of your fan fiction now, seeing as this was brilliant.

I know I'm coming late to the party, but I just want to express my immense admiration for this story - the plot, the emotion, and especially the dialog, which you have a real knack for. You are very, very talented, and I thank you for sharing it. Even if I'm staying up waaay too late on a work night because I CAN'T STOP READING THIS STORY!

Hi! I just finished reading this entire story. I am new to the Jam fanfiction world. (Although I have been a long-time reader/writer in the Harry Potter and House worlds). However, despite my newness I ADORE Jim and Pam.
This story was great. It made my heart skip a beat a couple of times, particularly when Pam told Jim that she wanted him to change his name to his real, real name and not Matt.
I have to make a shocking admission here and say that I sympathised greatly with Jim in this story and am really glad it worked out well for him in the end. As shocking a thing as it is to do I understand his reasons for creating a persona and injecting himself into Pam's online world. I mainly understand because I, unfortunately did something extremely (and disturbingly) similar about 5 years ago. My story didn't have a happy ending but I am so very glad that Jim's did.
Wow this has been long. Basically, you are a great writer. I love how you capture the very elements that make Jim and Pam themselves. As I read your writing I can see how it would fit in the real-world of the show. (Real-world of the show? I guess that doesn't quite make sense but you know what I mean) Okay I'm going to stop rambling now and go read some more of your Jam stories!

So since I got around to making an account to review & add favorite fics/ authors, I had to come back to this one, which I read a little bit ago, and is one of my absolute favourites!!!
I would kill for an "epilogue" where Jim confesses to the chat room and actually does some of the other things on the list. But even without that.. awesome!
Author's Response:
You won't have to commit a felony, chiquiti - I am currently working on such an epilogue! I'm so glad you liked the story! Thanks for the review!

This was a FANTASTIC fic!!! I thought it was a really good idea that when you had Jim enter the chats that you included what was already going on in the chat (does that make sense?). My favorite line: "Jim wondered if this is what a panic attack felt like." I think that captured the moment he found out Pam knew the truth perfectly.
