I don't have any brilliant observations to make, and I certainly won't attempt to offer a critique. Also, there's too much good going on here to try and list. So I'm just going to sum it up by saying thanks for writing this. Really, thanks.

OK, after reading numerous reviews on this over at TWoP, I had to come and read the entire thing in one sitting.
Oh My GOSH! This! is the perfect fan fic! Can I rate it a 20??

The END?! What am I going to do without reading Squirrel? There are plenty of great stories here but there is only one Squirrel. But a sequel is in the works? Nice </Kevin>
Jim in jeans. I love Jim in jeans. *fantasizes* okay. back to story
Sorry Pam... see, this is why <i>I</i> am meant for Jim. You need pepporoni on a pizza. Its like, not a pizza if there isn't pepporoni!
Okay, Pam. I will let you have him just because you two are so cute together its just, oen giant ball of happy fluff.
Are we never going to learn the origins of Squirrel McPants?
Ah, so here ends the great fanfic ever written....it deserves a space on the fanfic wall of fame... so whenever there is a fanfic wall of fame, this will have a spot there.
Simply... Amazing.

Yes Jim, you were that transparent. Ever since the first time I saw you (which technically for me was less than a year ago, Michael's Birthday repeat), I totally knew you wanted Pam. But its okay, Jim will learn that me and him were meant to be together :)
Gah! (I have noticed that gah has become my exclaimation of choice... i blame Becka), but that IM conversation was just too perfect! So them, so wonderfully Jammy.
I am surprised Angela is helping decorate with the whorish green. Although I almost typed greenish whore and THAT would have been an interesting party.
They are talking about condoms. My eyes - saucers. Wow.
Seriously, happy JAM makes me happy. And the fact that we know have some of it in the show!!!!

Well, even though not having a computer was near torture, it did allow me to not have to wait so long before Squirrely updates. So, I do see a silver lining. However, every time I got an email saying Squirrel was updated it was all I could do not to go read it then.
He bought her daisies. Even though I am angry at Jim for what he did, that is sweet. And he is a dork, but he is suck a cute dork!
One odd thing I remember about Greek Mythology is that one of Zeus's kids was born in a weird way (they were all concieved weird ways... by a shower of golden rain - what is up with that). Anyways, the mom, I am thinking Hera had a really bad headache. And so Zeus cut her head open with an ax and out popped the kid. And then, at least, according to my class, is how we get the phrase splitting headache.
"Can we really go forward without acknowledging the past?"
GAH! I love that line... so perfect. Its just... perfect.
"Let's just say I couldn't walk away from you if I wanted to." and so heartbreakingly sweet
And they kissed. I am going to ignore the fact I have tears in my eyes, because really, that is just so pathetic. But true.

Very, very impressive time4moxie. I read the first 17 chapters all at once after Bluejeanbaby from the NBC MBs told me about it. Stayed up ready 'til 2am - a definite sign of good writing and great storytelling. I thought you captured the essence of the Jim and Pam characters very well. I like your conversational style and I like the humourous elements that flow throughout the story. Time for me to read some more of your fanfic. Thanks for sharing your gift.

Wheeee!!! What a great ending, it was absolutely PERFECT. I really loved how they took things slowly- it always seems like a waste to just jump into it, but I like how they're savoring it.
I can't WAIT until the sequel. Well played, Moxie. This is one of those fics that's a milestone.

It's over? Really? :o( I would love to see lots more of this including Jim having to complete all of Pam's requests--hopefully there's a sequel or epilogue because I really have loved this story from start to finish

Nice. So very sweet and intimate and just...yay!

Oh, Moxie,
This was well worth the wait. Every so often I had to look up from reading with this silly grin on my face. What a lovely time they had. Pam certainly had a few tricks up her sleeve that Jim didn't expect. Love that FNB! The teasing and the banter just makes me squee all over. I can't pick out any particular lines, because I loved it all.
I read this last night, copied it at work, and have reread it at least 5 times since. I'm so sad it's over, but am looking foward to the sequel. Can't wait till he has to out himself in the chatroom!
I hereby award the "Best Fanfic of 2007" Dundie to you Mox for making us love the Squirrel.

Please say we are going to get to read the "later" Jim references! I have absolutely loved this story. I love how nervous Jim was at the beginning and how he got so excited when Pam mentioned pizza for break. Just too cute. Thank you for writing this and can't wait for the sequel!

Moxie, this was such an amazing story from beginning to end. It so encapsules everything that is great about Jim and Pam. I wish I knew your secret to being so prolific, with the ability to continually create fantastic stories.
I can't wait for Squirrel's trials.
Author's Response:
I wish I knew your secret to being so prolific,
I am usually heavily medicated. ;-)
Thanks for the kind words, macolly!!

Upon rereading, I can confirm that I am in love with every word of this epic chapter. All 10,000 plus, or whatever it ended up being.
What a great first date story that doesn't actually count as a "first date" story because when you started it no one had any idea that such a thing would exist at this point. ;)
Anyway, it was amazing and I'm so glad you didn't listen to Swedge and keep us in suspense all summer long. Way to rock, Mox!

is it really over? oh my goodness. this chapter was WONDERFUL. not that we expected anything less from you. i love the pants! haha such a great idea. but now i want to know, where did squirrel mcpants come from? it's a lovely way to finish it i guess, if it absolutely has to be over. i love it.

eh well sorry if I'm a huge downer but to me it seems the hype kinda overwhelmed you here. Was sorta expecting something other than, frankly, 10k words of forgettable and overdone fluff capped off by brief censored smut. Also disappointed you chose to not come through with the promised "Jim outs himself on IRC" scene. Oh well..

Moxie, you know I love you and that this is an incredible ending! Squirrel is now complete, which means my life is now complete. lol. I can't wait for the sequel!
