Okay, and can I just express my LOVE for that particular speech in Independence Day? That's the speech that made me a Bill Pullman fan! So cheesy, yet so priceless...
Author's Response: YES that speech is priceless, for realsies. My favorite bit of that movie is when they cut to the "Brits" who are finding out that America has come up with a plan and they're like "Its about bloody time!" Like, of course America has to think up the plan to save the world and all the other countries are just waiting around to hear what it is, hahha.

Okay, now I'm not sure anymore who I'm hoping for Pam to hook up with. I've been gunning for some Pam/Ryan loving since about chapter 2, but angry sex with jealous angry Jim could be pretty hot, too. Of course, then he would be cheating on Karen and I'd have to bring back that finger I reserved just for him during the Never have I ever game. Ahh, I'm so conflicted! Can't wait to see what happens next.

Jim wanting to kick the bartender's ass, and Pam doing the (verbal) ass kicking herself - awesome. And of course the snarky movie banter and the use of the last names between Ryan and Pam would SO drive Jim over the edge (as opposed to Ryan and Pam making out.) Because that's a Jim/Pam thing (like when Pam was crushed to see Jim and Karen pulling pranks.)
*sigh*
But I really think it will be Angela's comment, "I think you are about to upset the very delicate balance of this office," that will make Pam reexamine this whole Ryan thing. 'Course I could be totally wrong.
Whatever. I stalk MTT looking for updates to this fic. More, pretty please?

God, Jim is killing me in this story. I feel for him so much. I just finished watching the first season and man his life sucked so hard. Now to watch the woman he loves flaunt how much she doesn't want him anymore part deux?! I mean come on, he already put it out there, twice, with Pam so ready to 'move on' again why would he do it again? I would tell Jim to forget it that it isn't worth it, but the sad thing is that he isn't ever moving on. Gah.

It has also made me realize that as much of a JAMshipper as I am, I think I am moreso a pamshipper - I just want her to be happy, and if Ryan is the one to get her there so be it! What are we calling them? pryan?

First of all, my reaction to updates of this has evolved from excited to realived. Today kind of sucked and this made it all better. This may be my favorite chapter so far. Ryan is so dreamy, Michael asked Stanley to sing "Ebony and Ivory", drunk Dwight is so sweet, I love Karen and Pam as friends(why could the writers not have gone this route?). I am really curious what Jim said to Ryan though in the bathroom (in the adjoining urinals!). Ok, I've written too much. Awesome job as usual!
