Guh. I. Love. This. I love that their relationship isn't perfect but that they are perfect for each other.

This is late late late, but I just found this story and totally loved it. The locking the baby in the car thing struck me as very realistic. It reminded me a little of Juno, how the baby having fingernails made her decide to keep it (one of my favorite parts of the movie). It's funny the things that make us worry or really make us care about something. Tangent, but anyway, it was good and very real!

I thought for sure I had reviewed, but I checked and I hadn't...this story is amazing! I LOVE the feelings you've captured, and it feels so darn realistic.
I've read it a few times now, it's my new go-to story when I need a little fix.
Thanks for writing it!
Author's Response:
It's nice enough that people manage to get through my fic once. Rereads are icing on the cake.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reviewing.

I think this is the first Jim/Pam-baby fic in which they're not both immediately ecstatic about it. I like this scenario a lot- it's really realistic. You've captured both of their voices really well, and I love the little details of their relationship- the Lucky Charms and Jim's shoes and everything. Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks so much!

I had a backlog of fic, but I am so glad I read this. Pregnancy fics are often far too sweet, but I am glad to see Pam being a bit freaked out and having doubts about whether she can raise another human being. It was lovely. The band-aid analogy was perfect.
Author's Response:
Look at my pretty ribbon. Dawesome!
Thanks for taking time to review.

Loved it! I love how Jim has the ability to calm her down and make everything right again!
Author's Response:
Ah, yes, Jim....
Thanks for taking the time to review.

Wow...wonderful. In particular I loved the paragraph about still watching cartoons and buying Lucky Charms. I love how freaked out Pam was (very understandable) and how Jim was able to make it all better. Just lovely.
Author's Response: Thank you so much.

Oh, this was beautiful! I adore it. I love this line: “I’m scared I’m going to lock our baby in the car.” - how she can so simply express all of her fears in that one sentence and he gets it.
Author's Response:
Expressing fear in a slightly humorous way seems very Jim/Pam so I'm glad you liked it.
Thanks for the review.

That was soooo damn cute. I usually don't like sweet future fics..But I really liked this one...
Author's Response: I'm happy to be the exception. Thanks!

I'm not usually nuts about PreggersPam fanfics, but this was different and cool. I enjoyed it a lot.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. thanks.

I like this a lot. You really capture that "What? How can we be parents?" feeling that we all get when expecting, even when it's planned!
I really like the line: "Now he’s the one who rips off her Band-Aids." I also really enjoy your description of how they can't keep their hands (and other parts) off each other!
Author's Response:
Thanks. I'm glad people got the band-aid metpahor from earlier in the story. I was afraid it would get passed over.
Thanks again.

That was simply wonderful. I admire how you captured the doubt and depth of what (we hope) Jim and Pam's relationship might be like someday. A beautiful story with a perfect ending. Nice work!!! --CH
Author's Response: Thank you so much!

Firstly, let me congratulate you on writing a story that isn't all fluffy bunnies and rainbows.
Secondly, wow. This story absolutely caught at my heartstrings and I could feel Pam's panic and Jim's concern and how even though things aren't perfect, it's still good. Wonderful.
Author's Response:
Thank you for pointing out the lack of bunnies and rainbows. It was important for me to not go the sugar sweet route in the end because it was very tempting. :)
Thanks for taking the time to review.

Wow, this is so good! I think I loved the description of her standing front of the tests the best. I live in center city philly and here they actually lock them up so you have to stand and wait for someone to come unlock them for you...so standing there looking at them is more than a little surreal.
I also love the whole 'we can't be someones parents' freak out. Its so true to character and what happens to a lot of people when the little plus sign shows up. I also love how you transitioned from them having 'a lot of sex' to her big realization of 'wow we're pregnant' through the anecdote to tell the grandchildren (who are now less than hypothetical) I thought that was a really smart transition.
I gotta say I got a little misty during the last conversation, with him being really supportive but at the same time not saying the perfect line, saying the Jim line. I also love her line of "I’m scared I’m going to lock our baby in the car.” Its a nice bit of humor/reality. And yeah when he has her hand on her stomach and says the last line, I melted a little....

Author's Response:
They only lock up razors around here. I can't imagine locking up the pregnancy tests.
Thank you so much for the review. It means a lot to me.

Wow, this was a great, great story! I loved the description of what their life would be like together when Pam worries that they're not ready to be parents. This especially: They still watch cartoons and their eyes light up when they see that Lucky Charms are on sale at the grocery store. One of their favorite hobbies is playing pranks on a grown man, and some nights they lie in bed and whisper, giggling like school children as they plot their next move on Dwight. It's just so in character, it's exactly how I picture them together. I really enjoyed reading this!
Author's Response:
Thank you. That pararaph was possibly the easiest chapter of the whole story because it seemed so them. The mental image of Pam and Jim zooming down the cereal aisle with their cart is very easy to imagine.
Thanks again.

I really enjoyed this one. I love the idea of them being together and I think it was very realistic the she admitted that sometimes she wonders if he is really the one (like once), because that is the way it is, no one is certain, even with Jim. I love love adore the ending, it made me smile. JAM parents? Please!
Author's Response:
Yeah, I totally imagine that if/when they get together, Pam will feel incredibly guilty about having thought if it will really last. Because it's just natural to think about it.
Thanks for the review!

Superb. Charmingly written, all the details ring true. Best of all it made me smile inside.
Author's Response: Thanks. I'm happy it made you smile because I really enjoyed writing this one.

Aaw, this was so sweet. I love Pam's freakout over whether she'll be a good mother, and the last line was just wonderful.
"but there had been a lot of sex. A lot of sex."
Hee, all I could hear was Kevin's voice during this.
Author's Response:
Well great, now I have Kevin's voice in my head too. :) Hee.
Thanks for the review. I really appreciate it.

I actually registered in order to write this review. I really enjoyed this story. I thought the characters were true to themselves and it was sweet. But that last line, oh that last line. It made me cry. So touching! Thanks for that!
Author's Response: You registered for little old me? You rock! I'm so glad you liked it.

This is really beautiful. You captured the emotions perfectly and made me long for these two to get it together already and make some babies.
Author's Response:
I know! As much as I love reading fic where they're together, I'd give up reading for a month (okay, maybe a week) if they'd just get it together on the show.
Thanks so much for reviewing.

So good. You've really captured both of them so perfectly here. Her panic, Jim just being Jim - regardless of the situation. I cannot express how amazing I think this is.
Sweet (and hot) and just really...real.
I sound like a babbling idiot - blame it on it being Friday - but I just wanted to tell you how much I adored this.
Author's Response:
You can babble all you want. "Really...real" works for me. :)
Thanks for taking the time to read and review.

Oh, wow. This is excellent. You've gotten Pam's fear and panic towards being pregnant so perfectly.
She looked over the boxes with wide eyes, overwhelmed by all the choices. Words like clear and easy were jumping out at her and she had no idea what to do because this was the furthest thing from clear or easy that she had ever done.
That's a fabulous line. So painful and frightening. Not the line itself, but the image I get of poor Pam in the aisle looking at pregnancy tests.
Oh, and it turns out I am in fact knocked up. I’m scared to death and have no idea what to do.
Please advise.
Pam
Ha. It's funny, but it's not, because she's terrified and it's not to the point where it's fully hit her yet. So, she's at that awful stage of imaging scenarios in her mind because she just doesn't know what to think.
Amazing job with this!
Author's Response:
It's always bothered me that pregnancy tests have such stupid names. Because for a good chunk of women buying them, it's not a planned purchase. :)
Thank you for the review!
