LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this. First off the little story Jam made up about the fruit machine being a Staples decoy was priceless. SO THEM. The entire story was just so do-able. I could so see this happening. I also especially liked the way you ended it with likening their relationship to all the messy paperwork on the floor that was going to be "worth" cleaning up. Nicely done!

Pretty much a perfect post-Negotiations scenario. I love that Jim didn't know she was talking about getting over Jim, not Roy. Very much where Jim would be at that point in time.

This was AWESOME and so sad and angsty and hot. I think I gasped out loud with this line
“I guess I’m just not one of those people who can instantly get over someone that I loved. I don’t expect you to understand that.” In my head i was shouting "Go PAM!", except then you made me feel sorry for Jim right after that.
i have to say that my favourite line was this:
But then another few seconds pass, and then she decides that she doesn’t want to wait for his wheels.
Loved it. Loved it . Loved it.

NICE ending! Again, you winning me over with your metaphors. In case my love for this didn't break through your stupor;-)... LOVED it! And I'm especially happy about the ending which was a lovely new treat!!!

Wow, if that doesn't warrant an, "Oh, SNAP!" I dunno what does. Awesome fic- their voices are perfect, and I love the image of the papers fluttering around them while they kiss. Great job, as per usual.

I'm not an avid reviewer, but every once and I awhile I read something that makes me think "The author must be told how good this is!!" This is one of those times. Fabulous dialogue; the perfect amount of awkward tension. I love minute mentions of their physical responses to each other. The piece didn't feel written, it felt woven, if that makes any sense. Just organic and real and lovely.
