So I sat down at my computer, planning to read a few fanfics and leave. I came across this one, and read the first chapter. I have been obsessed ever since. I did not stop between any chapter and kept going, hoping it would never end.
I realized how much I miss normal Pam! I really, really can't wait for the chapter to come where they are completely honest with each other, face-to-face.
This story is amazing, bottom-line. You captured their emotions perfectly, and, though it was painful to read (as in, I don't like to read about them suffering to such a degree, but I can't help it because it's so good), it was really, really quite exceptional.
Amazing work, Athena. Amazing.

I know this hasn't been updated in a while and probably won't be again (no matter how desperately I want it to :() I just felt the strong urge to comment on this beautiful story. I've just re read it and this time round, a lot of it really hit home and broke my heart in places. It's so wonderful and powerful and you capture the emotional complexities of both Pam and Jim incredibly. That passage that you quoted and the references to just not being able to be yourself again are sooo true and perhaps that's why it was so emotional for me to read again because of how much I can relate to it (Not exactly, but enough). Anyway, I just felt I needed to add a comment, commend you on this and plead that one day it will get finished. Thank you for this :)

So this is the first story that I've read here on this site. I created an account just to read it. First review I've ever left for an Office fanfic.
Because it's amazingly well-written, and the angst is just right, and you're a great author and I really, really hope (with cherries on top) that you'll update it soon? c:

Wow. Just...I just spent the last hour or so reading this and I'm upset that I can't properly express just how amazing it was. I'm a big fan of Jam fluff, but this is just...I can't even think of a word good enough. Just know that there were plenty of big fat tears that rolled down my face while reading this because of just how moving it is. I look forward to the next chapter!
