Well, that had to happen, and now Pam sees that Roy isn't the one. Can't wait until Pam comes to realize how much Jim means to her so they can make up! Does this have to end??? Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you, kat! SHe is well on her way to realizing that, and it's my favorite thing ever. Sigh...

I so love this story and hope you are already writing the next chapter!! And just b/c it's based on a book doesn't mean there can't be a Jim / Pam roll in the hay scene ;-)
Author's Response:
Ha, thanks! I won't do a roll-in-the-hay, but perhaps will make their chaste kisses spicier or something! We shall see...
Thanks for reviewing!

Ooooh, it was Boys & Girls and Booze Cruise and the ball all wrapped up into yummy goodness! Love this more and more.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, lis! I love writing it, it's a lot of fun!

Another great chapter! I love that Jim took her dance card.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Gil taking Anne's dance card is one of my favorite parts of the movie, it's so sweet and sad!

Aww, no problem about suffering through Roy. Roy is only there for the journey Pam has to go through to see who her true love is--a Mr. Jim Blythe. Love how you had a Booze Cruise moment in there and other moments from past episodes, yet have what happened with Anne and Gilbert as well... Loving this story!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I can't wait to write the good stuff...very soon, my friend.

Same old Roy. Hmph. I'm so happy that you're still working on this. It's just adorable and I love every chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks! It'll be finished soon, I don't always have a lot of time to work on it, but I'm trying! Thanks for sticking with it!

Ooooooh. So perfect. You do a wonderful job of synthesizing Pam's actions and Anne's motivations, here. Just beautiful. And poor Jim! Even in AU he can't catch a break. Hee.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the complemnts, lis. And don't worry, i think you know how this'll end. He may catch his break after all.

Seems like the same old Roy... can't wait to see Jim come back into the picture and for Pam to see the light. Thanks so much for updating!
Author's Response: Thanks, kat! I'm planning on finishing it soon, I know my updates have been sporadic :-X

ooh, two new chapters! Yay! I'm loving this story so much!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, PuffingNoise!

great chapter cant wai till the return of jim!
Author's Response: Me neither! Thanks for the review, and I'm glad you like it!

I was so hoping Roy would not come into this story. But it looks as if we've fast-forwarded a lot through Pam and Roy, so it's all good. I also like the way you included that Pam and Roy were happy in the begnning...I feel like that's missing in a lot of fics. In others it seems like Pam was always somewhat mad and resentful of Roy, in which case she would have left him in the beginning, I think. So to sum up this ridiculously long review: Boo to Roy (and Karen), but Yay overall! Can't wait for a "certain lanky gentleman" to return.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, and I love that it's so long (TWSS)! I had to include Roy, because Anne had a Roy, too, and it was just too perfect not to include. And I am speeding things along a bit to get to the good stuff. I'm glad you liked that Pam and Roy were happy- I always thought he was a great guy, just not the exact one for her!
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

I love how you meshed both stories together so well. There's definitely an "Anne" feel and also an Office feel, if I'm making sense. Loved your updates. Thanks. :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much, that's a huge compliment! I'm so glad you enjoy it!
Date: October 13, 2007 12:07 am Title: Enter Prince Charming
Awesome! I'm so excited for them to be going to college, and I love that Pam's already thinking about how conversation would be so much easier with Jim. Way to speed up that story line! ;)
Also, I happen to love Karen Stuart b/c I've always seriously hated Christine, and even though I do like Karen sometimes, it's nice every once in awhile to be able to just out and out hate her. Is that mean?
Author's Response: Oh, it's not mean. It's very easy to dislike Christine, and I do like Karen, too. It's fun to make her the two-dimensional villain for once ;-)

Oh please please please make Jim come back - to her, that is. I don't care if you veer off the tracks of the book - don't get him sick, don't break their hearts, and dammit, just kill Karen and Roy, noone cares. :P
I am so involved in this story it's ridiculous.
Author's Response: Oh, I'm sorry, I have to drag it out so it's so much the better when Jim comes back! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Oh yay yay!!! I've missed this story! And now you have me looking forward to the next chapter like crazy!!
Author's Response: I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond to this, but thanks so much for the review!

I was thinking about this story the other day, and wondering if you're going to update with any more chapters.
Author's Response: I will! I'm about halfway done with the next chapter. I took a Potter break for a couple of months, far, far from Avonlea.

I'm loving this story. I was a little wary of it at first because it was so A/U, but then I finally decided to read it, and I'm glad I did. At first, I could only really picture the characters of "Anne of Green Gables", but by the second chapter, you really did a good job at combining those characters with the Office characters and what they'd be like at that age. I love the sweetness between Jim and Pam. I can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm still a little dissatisfied with the first chapter, I think I was a little nervous about straying too far from AoGG. I'm so glad you're enjoying it!

I'm really loving this story so far and look forward to reading the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I'm slowly but surely working on the next chapter, and I promise there are more to come!
Date: June 22, 2007 09:07 pm Title: Just a Good Day
This was really clever -- I enjoyed the way you used the two different source materials to come up with something dear and sweet and still Jim and Pam.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! It's my goal to do them both justice, so I'm really glad you like this!

At this pronouncement, a few of the smallest children really did begin to cry *rolls on the floor* Nice touch...lol
Author's Response: Haha, thanks! I was wondering if anyone would catch that. Thanks for the review!

Awww McGigi, this was so lovely! I'm so glad that you didn't ruin the surprise. I really loved this chapter, but I can't wait for the ones coming up. Oh, and I re-watched the 2nd movie the other day and thought of you! I'll admit it was late, so I didn't make it all the way through, but it was really fun to make all the little connections between the movie and your story, especially since it's been a few years since I watched it.
Anyway, thanks for another great chapter, and let me know if you need any more help. I'd be honored to assist you.
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much, Azlin! I may yet be e-mailing you again. I'm so glad you liked it!!!

I adore this, and I love how you've gotten The Client here so perfectly - from Jan and Michael leaving, to Superintendent [David] Wallace, to finding the Play [the dialogue for this was brilliant, I have to say], to Dweet and the beets, to firecrackers, to Jim and Pam's being along and eating together and leaving together and listening to music and swaying - argh, I love this.
I love Anne of Green Gables, and I love what you're doing with this. Roy Gardner [oh, God, you probably will introduce him - the likeness in name is too good to pass up, woe!] and wow, how about Jim telling Pam how he feels and her running away [wow] and Jim nearly dying - wow, never saw so many similarities before. It's kind of awesome.
OK, now I can't wait even more. :P Hurry up!
Author's Response: Wow, thanks for the in-depth review, I appreciate it! The play was very fun to write, and I tried to think of some Freudian things for Michael to write about. I've got several more chapters planned (and you KNOW I have to use Roy). I'm cranking out about a chapter a week, so I'll keep plugging away.
Thanks again for reviewing, i'm so glad you like it!

Wait, it's not over is it?
Author's Response: Oh, no, it's not over. I've got several more chapters planned, probably five or six, but it may be even more than that!

Wow. I love how you've shifted a little and put a purely Dunder-Mifflin moment into the Avonlea setting, instead of the other way around. Swaying to the choir practicing was gorgey and so perfect. I don't think you realize how happy this story makes me, or how proud I am of you! Sooo good!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, you rock! I'm so glad you enjoy it!! I'll admit, i couldn't wait for you to read this chapter!

Oh, that was delightful. *sigh*
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Lis!
