I really liked this chapter, and especially Jim and Emma together. Not that I want them to be together! Because I don't. I really don't. I just like them as friends. I think.
Oh no... I might actually want Jim and Emma to get together. Something must be wrong with my brain. Don't listen to me though. Proceed as planned. ;)

Then I will gladly fill your tank. Please, please, please.....continue! I loved the 'hary little Buddha' comment.

You might want to insert a break after Pam and Emma are talking and then it switches to Jim and Emma talking; that was a little confusing :) This is a fun idea for a story...it might be fun to be Emma in Scranton, getting people together and such. Good times.

I'm so glad this one is about Toby and has a happy ending! He's such a sad character on the show, and I love reading about someone who looks up to him. Keep the chapters coming!

I was wary when I saw this, because I'm a huge Emma fan (in fact, when I was about 18, I actually was Emma...the month before that, I was Isabel Archer...then I assumed my other Emma persona, Emma Bovary. As you can see, I'm a very suggestible reader.) Anyway, my concerns were unfounded - this is a terrific start and really fun. And Toby as Mr. Knightley? Who'da thunk it? Yet, perfect. Do continue, please.

Yay Toby! I like it so far. I'm a huge fan of Jane Austen, and Emma is one of my favorite novels. I'm interested in seeing this progress.

Toby! Yeah! (/Toby)
I really like Pam's deadpan "sits at the desk out front" and the line about History with a capital H.

Yeah, Toby!
This is going to be excellent Emma fic...can't wait for more! An Emma-character is a great one to throw into Scranton; other Austen people aren't modern enough...other than Lizzy of course.

Ok, I am a philistine and have never read Emma, or P&P, or Anne of Green Gables. But I'm all about someone meddling and making things 'right'. So, I'm in for the ride!!

I was always just a "lurker" on this site before but reading this story made me register so that I could tell you how much I am already in love with it! I am a Jane Austen fanatic (surpassed only by my obsession with all things Jim and Pam, of course) and Emma is one of my favorites! I already love your Emma and I want Toby to have a happy ending as much as you do. Can't wait for more!

Okay, I usually manage to contain my laughter when I'm reading around other people because they'll inevitably ask me what's so funny, but this:
She wants to take a hit out on Elliot’s life but she decides that may not be the smartest way to start a new career
just did me in.
That's not what I meant to say though, what I meant to say is: I am in love with this story and cannot wait for more! You totally just made my day.
