I've read a LOT of JAM fanfics, and I don't think a single one has ever made me laugh out loud . . . . several times. The appearance of Jim Jr. was hilarious.
Every so often I think about writing a fanfic, and then I read something like this. This is so beyond amazing! Your insight into the characters, your spot-on photographic capture of their essence, all this topped off by the surprise turns in plot that I would have NEVER thought of, and yet is "of course that happened!" Such an entertaining story, so fun, so surprising (my favorite quality in any book, film, TV show or fanfic) --- you are a fantastic writer! Yeah, you rock!
Your endings are sometimes abrupt, but I think that's just cause I don't want your stories to end. :)
Sigh, I wonder if there is any chance you will read this --- ten years later. Thanks so much for a fun read.

Karen walking in and finding them chained together and making out).

A-W-E clapclap S-O-M-E!
This was the best chapter of all. Michael's POV regarding Jim, Josh and Karen; Jim's discussion with Michael and opinion of Michael; Jim's opinion of the gym (hey, maybe Karen will meet Toby's wedding date there and they'll have a lesbian love affair); the handcuffs plan and the fact Pam came up with it.... it's all good.
I really enjoyed this story.
And I love your season end mantra. Bears, Beets, Boners, Handcuffs. Yes!

Your Michael was *so* well written! I'm impressed. And the plan was genius. I like that it could take only 10 minutes instead of lengthy, drawn-out hours.

The handcuffs are a particularly Michael-esque twist! Nicely done.

I really enjoyed this - and the fact that Pam set up their encounter was priceless! Great twist!

Pam! My goodness, who knew the girl had it in her? That was brilliant :) And a little kinky, but in the good way haha. This was a great story! Hope to read more from you soon!

Interesting. I really like that last paragraph with Jim's POV regarding Phyllis's wedding. Very believable.

Wow, it was no problem to control Jim Jr. around Karen; I wonder what that means. Yeah, no I don't.
Jimpalement! "His screw up had given her capital to force him into some relationship talk. Dammit she's brutal."
This is really interesting. I'm not sure Pam actually would have laughed like that, though, although I guess it's possible. I think something like that is funnier if you're watching it. Pam, Karen, and Jim were sort of all involved in that moment. I would think Pam might be embarrassed. Happy that Jim Jr. notices her, but still embarrassed/uncomfortable with the situation in front of cameras and all.
Author's Response:
"I'm not sure Pam actually would have laughed like that, though, although I guess it's possible." You're reviews are always so dead on. This was the most awkward thing to come up with -- I wanted her to be genuinely cool about it (vs. Karen's calculating + opportunistic) but its such a wierd situation to have to write my way out of... this story kindof has a mind of its own now. thanks for the feedback!

I love that you're exploring Jim feeling a lack of trust and wariness with Pam at this point. It's not something you see too often in fic, but I think it's what he has to be feeling at this point. He's going to be incredibly reluctant to trust/believe Pam--and I think you're capturing that well here.

I'm waiting to see a slightly more JAM happiness, but still, very good! =)

This is some heavy angst but to be fair I was warned. Helps show why Jim acts like such an idiot sometimes. And here's a warning for you. I'm hoping for a happier ending... *holds garbage menacingly*

I like how this kindof balances serious/inner-monologue and funny without really compromising either. Nice writing. Definitely reading on!

That was hilarious. If I was Pam I would not have been able to hold in the laughter.

"Don't worry, its totally gone now." - I wonder if Karen will catch the subtext of that one...?
Author's Response: I'm so glad someone mentioned this -- I basically thought of this line first and wrote the chapter backwards from there. Thanks for the feedback!

I know Im reviewing in backwards order but good grief I wish they would do this in the real show. Nice surprise ending. I let out a real life gasp.

I really like this. You write Karen very humanely, yet let her manipulative b**** side show through too. Keep going!

Cute story but no offense aren't you a guy? It don't really work like that.. :p
Author's Response: Its definitely not meant to be medically realistic (unless Jim is actually 15 and experimenting w/ viagra).

seriously.... jimpalement?! what a way to go...
loving this!

that was disgusting! I'm not talking about Jim having an erection, I'm talking about him and Karen moving to NYC together- that's just GROSS. ugh fix this fast.
