Well, Jim wound up with pam, but what a price, knowing she had fucked a douche like Ryan. Jim is always shown to be a dickless wuss. He should have kicked Ryan;s butt, dumped Pam, and faced the future with balls intact

LOVE the Heathcliff reference. This is a fun story...totally different take from my usual JAM obsession. I'm enjoying it -- thanks!

Aw PhillyJim! I really enjoyed reading this. I honestly didn't know how is was going to end - you had set it up so it could be any of the three possibilities you mentioned. I can't help but be happy that Jim got the girl in the end though!

Great chapter! Not a pairing I would really have thought of but your superb writing manages to make it work! Still feel bad for Jim though!

Fantastic. The concept was great, and the writing was, too.

I really wasn't sure if I'd like this at first, but I kept reading and eventually-- this ended up being one of my favorite stories on here, ever.
Very nicely done, funny, poignant, even a little bit heartbreaking at just the right times. Now with S4 Ryan, it's a little hard to imagine him being so nice, lol but I still like to revisit this one once in while because you did such a good job.

I read this story a few weeks back and loved it! BUT, I especially loved that in last weeks episode Jim was a sports writer in his Second Life. So great!

This was a really great story and it kept me here reading all morning. When the phone vibrated during Jim and Pam's kiss, for some reason I wanted it to be Ryan calling from the parking lot where he could see them.....but it was still pretty cool. I'm glad she chose Jim, and within the context of your story, I don't think that was "unoriginal" at all. I skipped the epilogue because of the possible Harry Potter spoilers, thanks for the warning.
All and all, great read, thanks for sharing it!

I thought this chapter was really well-written. I like your interpretation of Ryan's inner thoughts. I especially liked the bit where Ryan was all annoyed with Jim's sighing and such. I'll definitely keep reading.

I totally enjoyed this fic, but you've GOT to include a Harry Potter spoiler warning. I've luckily already read it, but if I found out the ending from a JAM fic, I'd be really upset!!
Author's Response:
Thanks. I added a spoiler warning earlier this evening. I hope everyone can see it now.

That? Rocked. Seriously, one of the best I have read. And it also apparently turned me into a squeeing thirteen year old. Ryan/Pam never really interested me all that much, and probably still won't, but that was beautiful. The pairing and motives behind it were well thought out and believable, and other than Jim in the first part, the characters all stayed canon. I really enjoyed it, and wished I read it sooner.

I like the ending, but you kind of spoil Harry and it's "happy" ending. Lucky I just finished it before reading this
Author's Response: Argh! Sorry, I meant to put a spoiler tag on the top and then zoned it. I'll do that right now.

Awww, lovely! The press release was so cute and creative. Great job with the story as a whole...you should be proud!

I have a special place in my heart for a tribute to successful potty training. Oy.
Hooray for happily ever after. And for the fact that moving on doesn't mean discarding everything that was valuable. It makes you who you are.

This epilogue is downright "SQUEE!" worthy. :) I think it might just be one of my favorite "far into the future" things that I've read!
I loved this story. So much. :) Awesome job.

Ahh! I, too, am really sorry to see this series end. I loved the creative way you divided each chapter as well as the completely believable Pam/Ryan dynamic. It was a very realistic love triangle and you handled it expertly. And I love that Ryan and Pam are able to still be friends and even work together. Also, maybe I'm a little nerdy, but I thought the names of Pam and Jim's daughters were adorable as well. Very good job and I look forward to reading your next project.

I'm a little disappointed. I was rooting for Ryan.
I still think Jim was being a huge fucktard. ;)

My heart was lodged in my throat when I read that Pam went to New York to see Ryan! As I was reading that, thinking that she chose Ryan, I realized just how much I was pulling for Jim in this story! I am such a sap. I loved the reference to Wicked and it really made sense when taken in context with the story as a whole. And I really loved the ending. So simple, so sweet, so them. Looking forward to the epilogue!

EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
As much as I loved her with Ryan in this story, I really wanted her to end up with Jim and I'm SO happy that she did! :)
Can't wait to read the epilogue!
