I'm glad that you decided to continue despite all of the post-Job fics out there. I love Pam/Ryan fic. I was denied cannon Jam for so long that now a lot of the Jam fic seems unrealistic. But when you write a Ryan/Pam story, which isn't cannon, you have to work to make the story believable. Please keep going!!

Pam/Ryan is my not-so-secret OTP.
I love this dynamic between them! I think they really could have been/could be? really good friends in cannon.

It's great that the overabundance of Jam hasn't derailed you from this. I like things that are different, especially when they are as down to earth and just plain entertaining like this. Great Ryan thought-processes.

I still love Jim & Pam too -- but you made a convincing case for Ryan & Pam. Even though Ryan is an ass. But since 'Beach Games' & 'The Job' didn't happen, I'll suspend judgment of Ryan. (Your version is much more likeable than GD's anyway!)

Very good. I like the whole thing with the T-shirts. I still like Jim - if I were Pam in your story, it would have gone differently! It's nice how Pam just updates Ryan on that, but she actually has other things to talk to him about instead. Fun.
The portrait at the end is very cool.

Nice. I have to admit as a Jim/Pam fan, I liked the little bits you mentioned about Jim, the 'cruel thing' and the 'small cloud'.
It might be a little early for a chaste good luck kiss. It doesn't seem overly Pam-like. And hey, where's Kelly?

Well, I'm a Jim/Pam fan, but I like it anyway!! Nice job.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm a Jim/Pam fan too, but I've found that trying new things can be fun too.

Ooooh! Pryan!!! YAY! I love so much about the things you choose to be.
Honestly, thanks for writing this. I love the Pam you've got going here. I have an affinity for Pam who is strong of her own accord, not because Jim loves her. Plus, not-so-assholish-Ryan! :)
I can't wait for more. TEMP! TEMP! TEMP! Uhhh. RYAN! RYAN! RYAN!
Author's Response: Not-so-assholish-Ryan is always fun for me too. Thanks so much for your review.

Awwwwwwwwwwww. A+!
Author's Response: Thanks so much!

I really love this whole concept. Although I do feel sad about Jim being too late, I do enjoy Pam and Ryan together. I liked that one of the reasons she identified with Ryan was that he wasn't attached to Dunder Mifflin and she could just follow him out the door.
Loved the idea of them starting a tshirt business together. Great work!
Author's Response: Thanks so much. I'm sad about Jim too, but as I was watching the last couple of episodes, I started to get this nagging feeling that maybe the one that has evolved has been Pam.

I like how you've captured the Ryan attitude here: "Hip --- hooo ---- fucking --- ray."
Author's Response: Thanks! I have a friend who puts the word "fucking" in the middle of almost every expression. "Eggs fucking benedict" stuff like that.

It's good to see Ryan with women again after reading Equilibrium. The boy's getting around, ain't he?
Great so far.
Author's Response: ROFL!!!!!! Thanks. He is the office tease :)

OK, I can't read Jim/Karen unless I know a breakup is on it's way, but I'm Ok with Pam & someone else. I know, double standard, whatever.
I like how you have written Ryan -- you have really captured his 'one foot out the door for something better' attitude.
Author's Response: I'm the same way. Jim and Pam just ick me out but I am so intrigued by the Pam/Ryan dynamic...probably because there really isn't one on the show and we writers can just go wild with it. Thanks for your comments about my Ryan characterization as well.
Author's Response: Ugh!!!! I meant that Jim and Karen ick me out! I have no idea what I was thinking!

I dare you to make me ship Pam/Ryan! Ha ha. Great first chapter, I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'll see what I can do.
