This is story is like a perfect moment that culminates all the complicated, unresolved feelings between them. So many wonderful lines/phrases - but somehow this one just nailed it for me:...she puts her hand on his cheek and kisses him tenderly, like she has done it every day of her life. And then this: The possibilities for rejection from him are endless. So true. Just really beautifully written.

Suh-WEET. Loved it. Despite the fact that there are probably all kinds of funguses in the locker room, I approve of this scenario. I'm sure they'll shower together afterwards. Wearing their shower shoes. ;)
